The sun will set Friday at 5 p.m., one minute later than Thursday.
Some more solar tidbits to warm your day: The first sunset after 6 p.m. will occur on March 9, five days before Daylight Saving Time kicks in. On that day, sunset will occur at 7:06 p.m.
The Summer Solstice will occur on June 20, marking it the longest day of 2021. On that day, the sun will rise at 5:32 a.m. and set at 8:31 p.m.
The last day of Daylight Saving Time will be Nov. 6, when the sun sets at 5:52 p.m. The next day it will set at 4:51 p.m.
