A PROMINENT cardiologist who ran up a £98k ($135,000) bill at a strip club has been let off – because he was drugged by dancers.
Dr. Zyad Younan, 44, blew the five-figure sum on private dances and booze at famous Manhattan 'jiggle joint' Scores.
A court heard how the heart doctor was in a "romantic relationship” with a stripper who pretended to be a nursing student when they met in a New York restaurant in 2013.
Karina Pascucci began bringing her friends on dates, claiming they were her sister and cousins.
Dr Younan said he would wake up the morning after the dates in a hotel room unable to remember what had happened the previous night.
Pascucci later admitted slipping tranquillisers in Younan’s drinks and then driving him to Scores, where they forged his signature on his credit-card receipts.
But the club still pursued the doc over the unpaid tab.
Last night Judge Kelly O’Neill Levy ruled he was the victim of “criminal conduct” and should not be expected to pay.
Scores’ lawyer argued that the club was not a party to the criminal scheme.
But the court found in his favour and the bill was wiped – after a three-and-a-half year legal battle.

His lawyer, Michael Weinstein told the New York Post: “Dr. Younan now has a chance to close this chapter of his life and move on,’’
Dr Younan, however, has desperately lost a defamation case against Scores after a club rep joked: “If I had five dancers dancing for me, I’d be in intensive care.’’
Scores’ lawyer did not return a message for comment.
