A child is in a critical condition and a driver is dead after three cars were involved in a collision in Gippsland on Tuesday.
The cars crashed at the intersection of Traralgon-Maffra Road and Farmers Road in Glengarry about 3.50pm. One of the drivers, who is yet to be identified, died at the scene.

Two others of the seven involved in the collision, including a child, were taken to hospital.
Ambulance Victoria confirmed a primary-school-aged boy is in a critical condition after sustaining upper body injuries, and is likely to be flown to hospital.
A man, who is being taken to Traralgon Public Hospital, is in a stable condition. His injuries are unknown.
The exact cause of the collision is yet to be determined by police. Detectives from Major Collision Investigation Unit will attend the scene.
Thirty-two people have died this year in road-related accidents, a 10-person increase from this time last year.
