Former US President Bill Clinton in hospital with ‘non-covid’ infection – ‘On the mend’

Bill Clinton, 75, was admitted to the University of California Irvine Medical Center on Tuesday, his spokesman has confirmed.

Mr Clinton’s spokesman, Angel Ureña, posted on Twitter: “On Tuesday evening, President Clinton was admitted to UCI Medical Center to receive treatment for a non-Covid-related infection.

“He is on the mend, in good spirits, and is incredibly thankful to the doctors, nurses, and staff providing him with excellent care.”

According to CNN, the 42nd President was hospitalised with a suspected blood infection.
