COMEDIAN Heather McDonald has been rushed to hospital after she collapsed on stage during her set.
The Chelsea Lately star, 51, was headlining a show in Tempe, Arizona, when she delivered her second joke: "I'm vaxxed, double vaxxed, boosted and flu shot and shingle shot and haven't gotten Covid and Jesus loves me most."
Just having delivered her line, she collapsed and hit her head on the floor, according to eyewitnesses who spoke to TMZ.
Many initially thought it was just part of her act but the audience soon realised something was not right.
An EMT nurse who was in the crowd then rushed up on stage to provide first aid.
An ambulance was called and paramedics tended to McDonald.
The comedian later told TMZ that she had felt rather dizzy when she was up on stage and then just collapsed adding it had never happened to her before.

She passed on being taken to hospital in an ambulance and said it was her sister-in-law, who was in the audience, to took her for medical attention.
McDonald said a number of tests were carried out, including a cat scan and blood tests, but so far no reason had been given for her fainting.
She added her head really hurt and she was very tired.
In an update via her Instagram page, McDonald told her fans from her hospital bed: "I'm so, so sorry. I passed out on stage. I did one joke and felt so dizzy.
"You can see my eye… when I fell. Oh my God, I feel so terrible. I will be back. I've never, ever fainted in my life."
McDonald found herself in an Instagram spat with Chrissy Teigen last year.
The spat began after Chrissy posted a photo of herself on Instagram and downplayed her image. Heather commented on the photo, accusing the model of "humbly bragging."
Teigen then posted on her Instagram story, seemingly firing back at McDonald.
"I didn't sleep at all last night, as John can attest. I was up sick, sobbing, as my phone popped up the memory of being in the hospital exactly 1 year ago, losing our baby. So maybe I'm a little sensitive today but f**k off."
Teigen then wrote: "Why people follow people they hate us [sic] is beyond me".
McDonald admitted that she was unaware it was the anniversary of the model's pregnancy loss. The comedian then posted on her own Instagram page, calling Chrissy a "hypocrite".
As well as featuring in the E! series Chelsea Lately, McDonald was also one of the show's writers and also appeared and wrote for the spin-off show After Lately.
She also hosts the popular podcast Juicy Scoop.
McDonald also published a memoir in June 2010 called You'll Never Blue Ball in This Town Again: One Woman's Painfully Funny Quest to Give It Up.
She is married to Peter Dobais and they have three children together.
