A judge has been sacked after allegedly offering up his own 12-year-old daughter on a wife-swapping website, it has been reported.
Frenchman Olivier Bailly, 55, had been a vice-president of the law courts in Dijon, Burgundy, but was removed by the judicial disciplinary authority.
He has been charged with corrupting a minor and provoking paedophile crime, the Times reports.
Bailly admitted his action at a hearing last month, but pleaded with his bosses to keep his job as he had been suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder following a case he worked on in 2007.
He claims he had been acting out fantasies and had never followed through with them.
His wife Sophie Véjux-Bailly, who is also a judge, was cleared. The offences which Bailly has been cleared of carry a jail sentence of up to 10 years.
He was removed from the bench, where he was in charge of the family law division in the town of Dijon, the biggest in the region of Burgundy.
Bailly was caught after a site for partner swapping reported seeing a child's picture posting on the site, in which she was wearing a swimsuit.
Police officers going undercover as men looking for sex then tracked the post to Bailly.

His lawyer Pauline Neveu said that Bailly was suffering from PTSD relating to a trial in 2007 of rapist and serial killer Pierre Bodein. The judge had been the chief prosecutor in the case.
Bailly said that he doesn't "feel really unworthy of this profession". He later added: "I think I have been useful and that I can still be useful one day."
No trial date has yet been announced.
The judge had been in charge of Dijon's family law division for over a decade.
