A man who allegedly used a tub of Vaseline to put drugs up his bum in a bid to avoid detection by Derbyshire Police has been arrested.
The man was stopped by police in Newbold, Chesterfield, by officers who thought he was behaving suspiciously.
In a tweet, the force said after they stopped the man officers saw him man with his "hands down his pants" and a tub of Vaseline inside the car.
He was then arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and was taken into custody, DerbyshireLive reports.
According to Derbyshire Police, the man allegedly refused multiple requests for him to have an internal scan.
After three days, the "young lad" reportedly gave up trying to conceal the drugs and police claim they found "multiple wraps" on him.
The force said they also recovered cash from an address and an investigation is ongoing.
Posting a picture of the car, Derbyshire Police said: "Stopped in Newbold (known locally as Newbowd).
"Shifty young lad has hands down his pants and open tub of Vaseline nearby.
"Arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A.
"Refuses scans, gives up the fight 3 days later. Multiple wraps recovered, cash recovered from address, investigation ongoing."
The post gained a lot of attention on Twitter who made jokes at the expense of the alleged criminal.
One said: "Three days? That came as a relief for everyone."
Another said: "I wonder if the people that buy these little parcels know where they've been kept for safety?"
"Oh dear. I don’t envy you getting to the bottom of that criminal activity," added a third.
