The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for snow and strong winds across the UK starting on Christmas Day and lasting until Boxing Day, with a warning of likely disruptions on roads and railways due to snow and ice for commuters. The country may also be impacted by short-term power loss, particularly in North East and North West England as well as Yorkshire & Humber.
