An Oregon couple with a gorgeous riverside cabin overlooking the calming water have been named America’s most welcoming Airbnb hosts.

Cyndi and Tim Hill have 416 five-star reviews for their Stayton rental located on the Santiam River – and have received 100 percent satisfaction in every category.

Tim is a realtor and Cyndi works for the Keizer School District – but they rent out the gorgeous cabin – fit with an art studio, rain shower and heated floors – on the side.

They started the side hustle in 2017 and have never looked back. The cabin, which costs around $112-a-night to reserve off-season, is currently fully-booked until December.

The married couple said: ‘Living out on the river with all the creatures and beauty is amazing and we enjoy sharing it!’

Their luxury cabin suite is suited for two adults on the Santiam River, and is marketed as a ‘special place to relax, unwind or a romantic getaway’

‘We were totally surprised and we had no idea that there was such a thing — and especially not for the whole country,’ Cyndi told KOIN.

‘We do our best to keep it as spotless as possible and as nice as possible, but mainly we just want to spoil our guests just like we would want to be if we were somewhere.’

‘We’re so close to Salem, Portland, Eugene, and we’re 25 minutes off of I-5 and you would never know it by looking at the backyard and the river. You would think you’re out in the middle of nowhere,’ Tim added.

Their luxury cabin suite is suited for two adults on the Santiam River, and is marketed as a ‘special place to relax, unwind or a romantic getaway.’

It is also attached to the Artsy Fartsy Studio, where guests can let their creativity run wild.

‘You have a private entrance, Keurig coffee maker, with assorted pods and creamers, snacks, microwave, mini fridge with separate freezer which includes 2 ice trays,’ their listing read.

‘You also have a cabinet with grill accessories & tools, toaster, 13” pan for pizza (on request) for the grill and a few spices like (Lawry’s seasoning, garlic powder, salt, pepper, PAM) plus a champagne bucket and glasses to celebrate.

‘The beautiful luxury Spa bathroom has 2 fluffy white robes and soft fluffy towels, a large soaker tub for two that fills from the ceiling (If you’ve been to Five Pines in Sisters, you know this tub!), a 20” rain shower for two and an amazing one of a kind petrified wood sink and private toilette area.’

The large bedroom is fit with a king size luxury mattress and a gas fireplace – as well as a flat screen HDTV.

Guests are welcomed to stay and enjoy their time on the cabin’s balcony

And guests are implored to not do any washing dishes during their stay – as a treat.

‘Dishes are run through a dishwasher, please don’t rinse them just scrape any food off the plates, etc. into the garbage,’ the listing stated.

‘Put the dirty dishes in the grey tub located under the sink and set it on the front deck. We want to spoil you, we’ll take them and return them back to the deck clean.’

Ciara, who stayed there in July 2023, said: ‘This was our second stay and we had so much fun in the sun and on the river. Cyndi and Tim are wonderful hosts.

‘We love their little art studio and look forward to it when booking. It’s such a cool experience that just adds specialness to this already perfect Airbnb.’

Amanda, who also stayed this month, added in her review: ‘This was one of our best rental experiences ever. The cabin is remarkable, romantic, and fun.

‘Cyndi and Tim were the most hospitable hosts. We were fortunate to spend time with them in their art studio learning and creating, and it was a blast!

‘They thought of every detail to make their cabin unique and cozy and high quality. They were kind, welcoming, provided privacy, and went above and beyond to make our stay incredible.

‘We normally shy away from rentals that share the same property space with homeowners, but this was no trouble. In fact, it was pleasant and special.

‘Cyndi and Tim’s cabin is definitely a place we could see ourselves coming back to again.’

Shann, who stayed in June 2023, said: ‘I honestly am speechless. This was the best Airbnb we have stayed in! Cyndi and Tim were amazing hosts and the home was better than imaginable.

‘You walk through the door and are just drawn to the view. You are RIGHT ON THE SANTIAM! The deck chairs and heated blankets were just what we needed with our cups of coffee – and you don’t even need to bring your own Yeti!

‘Watching the birds and just sitting in the quiet of nature with the sound of the river and the birds. Nothing can top that.

‘The bed was so comfortable & I think we spent 75% of our time in their cozy robes. The bathroom is like being at a spa!

‘They even had bubble bath! We were welcomed with a personal sign, snacks and when we logged in to Netflix they had even added us there! It might seem small to some but these touches made us feel so special

‘Our favorite part was meeting Cyndi and Tim and doing the art project. It’s a must! It’s so fun!

‘Book this place now! I want to say more but I have run out of room.’
