A Perth man has died in Bali after being found in a drainage ditch following a scooter crash.
It was a shock find for a Bali local who was walking along a North Kuta road at around 5am on Sunday morning when he found Keith Thomas Coughlan trapped under the scooter.
Using the light from his phone, the local man spotted Coughlan’s legs trapped underneath the wreckage.
Police believe the 26-year-old Fremantle resident had been drink-driving after finding seven beer bottles at the scene.

It is the second tragedy in less than a week on the holiday island.
Just days ago another Australian man died after falling from the fourth storey balcony of a Seminyak hotel.
