Prince Andrew arrives at King Charles' coronation wearing ceremonial robes after being booed – but Harry wears a suit | The Sun

PRINCE Andrew has arrived at King Charles' coronation wearing ceremonial robes after being booed by crowds.

The disgraced Duke has been relegated to the bench for his brother's grand crowning today.

Charles had reportedly not allowed his disgraced brother to wear ceremonial robes for today's event but Andrew turned out wearing his regalia.

However, Prince Harry was spotted wearing a suit as he arrived for the ceremony.

Harry – wearing a dark morning suit and medals – is attending without wife Meghan, 41, or children Archie, who turned four today, and Lilibet, one.

The Duke was driven down The Mall in a state car towards Westminster Abbey, with members of the crowd in a grandstand in front of Buckingham Palace booing as he went past.

Prince Andrew, 63, and squabbling California-based Prince Harry, 38, are among those royals who are taking a back-seat as they arrived.

Neither have a ceremonial role and will not appear in the carriages or processions.

Despite the snub, Harry and Andrew are sitting inside the Abbey with other members of the Royal Family.

Harry was spotted sitting in the third row next to Princess Eugenie's husband Jack Brooksbank.

Andrew was engulfed in a sex scandal with Virginia Roberts that rocked the royal family.

In 2019, Virginia has claimed that she had sex with Prince Andrew in a toilet when she was 17, after a night where he had allegedly been plying her with vodka in a posh London club.

The royal has vehemently denied the accusations against him, branding them "false" and "without foundation".

On February 15, 2022, it was announced that Prince Andrew settled the lawsuit – sparing him a humiliating court battle.

Charles waved to thousands of cheering royal fans today as he was driven into Buckingham Palace ahead of his landmark coronation.

The monarch will be joined by his family and world leaders at Westminster Abbey as he pledges his life to the country.
