The Duke of York allegedly shocked a pregnant woman with a "completely inappropriate" remark about her breasts, a source has claimed.
The son of The Queen then laughed "like a schoolboy," said an acquaintance, who alleged he had heard the Duke make "a few unbelievable comments". The claims come from a 2015 article in New Zealand paper Waikato Times.
"He made some completely inappropriate comment to someone who was pregnant and had massive boobs," the acquaintance said. "You just think, 'Oh yikes – schoolboy stuff'. And he would roar with laughter and think it was hilarious, while said victim looked ashen-faced."
The report was published the day after ex-wife Sarah Ferguson famously defended Andrew as "a great man, the best man in the world," in January 2015.
That was the first time the Duchess commented as the Duke of York denied allegations of having sex with an underage girl, Namely Virginia Giuffre.
Ms Roberts, as Giuffre is now known, is said to have been "procured" for him by American billionaire and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
The prince denied the allegations then and continues to do so.
The news comes as he is set to face a civil sex trial on allegations he assaulted Virginia Guiffre after a US judge dismissed a motion by his legal team to have the lawsuit thrown out.
Judge Lewis A Kaplan’s came to this decision despite Andrew's lawyer arguing earlier this month the case should be thrown out as Ms Giuffre had waived her right to pursue the Duke by signing a confidential settlement with Jeffrey Epstein.
Ms Giuffre is expected to give a detailed account of her allegations in open court this autumn, only a few months after the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.
She is seeking unspecified damages, but there is speculation the sum could be in the millions of dollars.
Ms Giuffre claims she was trafficked by Epstein to have sex with Andrew when she was aged 17 and a minor under US law.
Buckingham Palace have been contacted in relation to the claims.
