PRINCE Andrew's sex accuser Virginia Giuffre has said the Palace should "hang their heads in shame" in the fallout over Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's bombshell interview.
Giuffre – who alleges she was forced to have sex with the Duke of York when she was 17 – compared the Palace's apparent handling of Andrew to the claims made by the Sussexes.

The 37-year-old railed against Andrew and the Royals in a string of tweets to her 88,000 followers in the aftermath of the the astonishing interview.
Harry and Meghan have sent shockwaves through the Royal Family as they sensationally claimed they felt forced out and had been subjected to racism.
As they sat down with TV host Oprah, the couple also made cryptic comments about the Palace "protecting" other members of the family while briefing against them.
Virginia wrote: "Well at the very least we know who #meganandharry are talking about when they say that #BuckinghamPalace & #TheFirm protected other royals but wouldn’t protect them & their newborn baby #Archie
"They should all hang their heads in shame."
She added: "The only crisis the constitution will see is if they continue burying the truth & spreading lies. #BuckinghamPalace needs to address #PrinceAndrew & the lack of any form of accountability.
"We live in a new era. Time to get out of the dark ages & into the new world we all live in."

A source close to the Duke rebuffed her tirade.
"The Duke of York remains stepped back from his royal duties until the legal process has been resolved and whilst a legal investigation into the circumstances surrounding Jeffrey Epstein continues," the source told The Sun Online.
"That investigation is not being conducted via Twitter.”
Prince Andrew has been under pressure for years over his links to US financier and disgraced paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

He is alleged to have been pals with the billionaire, and is accused of having sex with Virginia after she was trafficked by Epstein and his alleged "madam" Ghislaine Maxwell.
The Duke denies any impropriety and categorically denies ever having sex with Virginia – but stepped back from Royal duties following a car crash BBC interview in 2019.
He was pictured with his arm around the then 17-year-old's waist at the home of Maxwell in London in 2001 – but the Duke has since cast doubt on the authenticity of the famous photo.
Virginia posted a string of tweets as the reaction to Meghan and Harry's interview dominates headlines around the world, with Harry's dad Charles said to be in "despair" and his brother William "livid".
She described the Oprah interview as "very touching & eye opening for the masses watching" as it was viewed by tens of millions in the US and UK.
The alleged victim also took aim at reports the Palace has launched an investigation into claims Meghan "bullied" staff while in the UK, saying "I accused [Andrew] of a lot worse and still hearing crickets".
Virginia said: "I wholeheartedly understand the need for due process. That’s all I’ve asked for, investigate away.
"I have credible witnesses, flight logs & the photo. What does Andy have? Woking pizza & no sweat? Does all this not merit some form of an inquiry?"
She added: "For far too long I have waited for some form of justice & for far too long Andrew has escaped having to pay for abusing me as a minor and abusing me publicly with his atrocious words and denials.
"Hopefully one day I will get what I deserve."
In the TV interview, Meghan said: "Only once we were married and everything started to worsen that I came to understand – not only was I not being protected but that they were willing to lie to protect other members of the family.
"They were not willing to tell the truth to protect myself and my husband."
Who was Jeffrey Epstein?
JEFFREY Epstein was found dead in his prison cell after committing suicide on August 9, 2019, while awaiting trial for child sex trafficking.
The wealthy financier, 66, was a convicted child sex offender, who socialised with high profile celebrities – including Prince Andrew and Donald Trump.
He hid in plain sight as he rubbed shoulders with the world's elite – while being a sordid sex fiend behind closed doors.
The paedophile is believed to have groomed and manipulated girls and young women for sexual abuse.
He lured them with a life of luxury as he flew them around the world on his private jet and took them to his island in the Caribbean.
Andrew said he first met Jeffrey Epstein, a billionaire financier, in 1999 with the now dead banker once describing him as his "best friend."
And in June 2000, Epstein and his Brit "madam" ex, Ghislaine Maxwell were both guests at a party hosted by the Queen at Windsor Castle.
Virginia Giuffre, formerly Roberts, claims she was forced to have sex with the Duke when she was 17 – alleging the court papers they had sex three times, including one orgy.
Andrew has previously strenuously denied her claim he had sex with her.
Maxwell is accused would procuring girls for Epstein to abuse – with victims claiming they would be duped as she claimed she was recruiting models of masseurs.
The socialite has pleaded not guilty, and has always denied any wrongdoing over her friendship with Epstein.
Her lawyers have accused the victims of trying to turn her into a scapegoat since the death of Epstein.
Maxwell has been denied bail and is awaiting a trial in July where she faces six charges over her links to Epstein.
It comes as US lawyer Gloria Allred, who represents some of the women who were victims of Epstein, but not Virginia, suggested the Palace is making a "calculated decision" to take on Meghan in a bid to take the focus off Andrew.
"Why does Buckingham Palace not conduct an investigation and make a public statement condemning Prince Andrew for failing to provide what is requested to those who are seeking the whole truth and justice for the victims of crimes against children?," she told The Guardian.
"Why has Prince Andrew not been stripped of the royal titles that he enjoys, as has been the case for Meghan and Harry?
"He has certainly not brought dignity and respect to his work as a royal."
She added: "Allegations about him are far worse than the allegations about Meghan Markle. Prince Andrew was a working royal when he became a friend of Jeffrey Epstein, who was a sexual predator."
Ms Allred is among those who are campaigning for Andrew to offer himself for an interview by the FBI as the probe continues into Epstein and Maxwell.
Andrew has been accused of failing to cooperate with the wide-scale investigations into what is believed to be a huge sex trafficking ring steeped in money and power.
The Duke has insisted he is "willing to help any appropriate law enforcement agency with their investigations" – but so far has not yet spoken to US authorities.
Ms Allred said: "The investigation into Meghan Markle is a distraction, and it appears hypocritical under the circumstances.
"I have to wonder if it reflects a calculated decision to take the focus off of Prince Andrew."
Buckingham Palace is yet to officially respond to the tell-all chat in which pregnant Meghan broke down in tears as she and Harry revealed pressures they had faced within the Royal Family.
The 39-year-old actress heartbreakingly said she had been left suicidal after joining the Royal Family and that she had faced racism within the institution.
The Duchess of Sussex said there had been conversations with Prince Harry and a "family" member about their unborn son and what colour his skin would be – and "what that would mean or look like".
The exiled couple said the unnamed royal had quizzed them on “how dark” he would be, sparking shock across the world – Oprah later confirmed this was not The Queen or Prince Philip.
The Queen is reportedly refusing to sign off on an official statement on the interview which aired for the first time in the UK last night.
Harry and Meghan sensationally quit the Royal Family last year in an uncoupling which became known as "Megxit" and moved to California with their son Archie.
Royal insiders have claimed Harry has pressed the "nuclear button on his own family" with the two-hour interview and there is an "intense personal shock and sadness" in the palace.
The Sun Online has contacted the Palace who declined to comment.
