Fergie had her heart set on naming her daughter Princess Annabel, but Her Majesty's feedback, apparently, was that the name was too "yuppie" for a royal reports The Sun.
However the Queen is thought to have suggested Beatrice, after taking inspiration from the name of Queen Victoria's youngest daughter, and the rest is history.
Normally the Queen doesn't have any issues with the name suggestion, but it's believed that she wasn't sure when Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson shared their idea after welcoming their first child in August 1988.

Beatrice's full name is Beatrice Elizabeth Mary, with her middle names paying tribute to her grandmother and great-grandmother.
Edo and Beatrice's first baby is due in the autumn, so we'll have to wait a few months to see what she picks.

Louis is likely a tribute to Lord Louis Mountbatten, the Duke of Edinburgh's uncle and the last British Viceroy of India before independence in 1947.
