A royal correspondent has claimed that the Queen or Prince Philip were not the royals who made a comment regarding Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's child's skin colour.
ITV News royal editor, Chris Ship, appeared on Good Morning Britain on Monday morning where he discussed the explosive interview the Duke and Duchess had with Oprah Winfrey, writes The Mirror.
The bombshell tell-all interview aired in the US overnight and it is set to be on ITV at 9pm on Monday night and on ITV Hub, Courtesy of Harpo Productions/CBS.
Chris told Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid: "It was a conversation that Harry had with his family members. I should be clear here, I’ve been told it’s not the Queen and not the Duke of Edinburgh so that only leaves two family members…"
55-year-old co-host Piers quickly interrupted: "How do you know? But how do you know that?"
"Because I've been told that," Chris replied. "My job is to find out things, that’s what I do, and I’m not going to share my sources with you."
Piers then asked him: "So, who is it then?"
Chris replied: "Well, that's what I was just about to say.

Meghan, 39, claimed to Oprah that a member of the royal family asked about Archie's skin tone in the shocking interview.
The Duchess refused to say who the conversations had been with, and said it would be "very damaging to them".
But she claimed it happened numerous times.

She said: "In those months when I was pregnant, we had in tandem the conversations of him not being given security or a title, and also concerns about how dark his skin might be when he’s born.
"They didn't want him to be a prince or princess, not knowing what the gender would be, which would be different from protocol, and that he wasn't going to receive security."
When Prince Harry joined his wife later on in the programme, he told the US host that he would never reveal the details of the conversations.
He also said his father, Prince Charles, refused to take his calls and Meghan said she felt suicidal and "didn't want to be alive anymore" but that her husband "saved" her.
