Princess Charlotte's first solo engagement went down a storm after becoming a TikTok star for mimicking her father Prince William during the Commonwealth Games.
The Royal Family were on display as Charlotte, alongside her parents, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham on August 2.
While her parents were speaking to some of the attendees of the Games, seven-year-old Charlotte began to mimic her father’s relaxed stance as she proceeded to lean in and rest her arms on her knees, with her hands clasped in front of her – identical to Prince William.

After revealing her favourite sport to be gymnastics, Tim Lawler the chief executive of SportsAid who hosted the royal visit to Birmingham University, said that William and Kate tried hard to include Charlotte in their conversations.
“I did notice the Duke and the Duchess, as we were trying to do, include Charlotte in the conversations – we were very mindful of that and it was really very evident the Duke and Duchess were doing that to, I suppose, include her and reassure her,” he said.
Lawler added that: “She really, really loved seeing the swimming, but she’s interested in the gymnastics, and while they’re trying lots of different sports at home, I understand, when I asked her about sport she answered very easily and said ‘it’s gymnastics that I like."
