Sick DeathList website celebrates Queen’s death moments after announcement

A sick website predicting the deaths of celebrities has celebrated the passing of Queen Elizabeth II just moments after her death was announced.

The DeathList, at deathlist.net, has a list of 50 celebrities they expect to die in 2022 and proudly proclaims that her Majesty is now the seventh in the morbid list to have died.

The sickening website read "From Sceptre to Spectre", adding that more details were to follow.

Alongside the list, which also counts Dick van Dyke and ex-US president Jimmy Carter as those still predicted to pass away this year, is a "Latest News" panel with sick rhyming headlines announcing the deaths of those who made the hit list.

"Breakfast host is toast", the most recent one read, announcing the recent tragic death of Bill Turnbull after he succumbed to prostate cancer.

"British TV presenter, Bill Turnbull, has passed away to provide DeathList 2022 with its sixth score," it read.

Her Majesty passed away this afternoon at the age of 96.

Issuing a statement, Buckingham Palace said: “The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon.

“The King and The Queen Consort will remain at Balmoral this evening and will return to London tomorrow.”

She was at her private residence in Balmoral, with family members in attendance, and the new King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla will remain at the Scottish residence this evening.

As well as Queen of the UK, Her Majesty was also Head of the Commonwealth.

She was born in Mayfair in 1926 to the Duke and Duchess of York, who later became King George VI and Queen Elizabeth when King Edward VIII abdicated the throne in 1936 to be with his American lover Wallis Simpson.

She took to the throne in 1952 after her father died while she was on a tour of Kenya.

The Queen’s funeral will be a state funeral, in accordance with tradition.

The last state funeral to take place in the UK was Churchill’s in 1965 – although they are usually reserved for the Monarchy.
