A family who brightened the lives of millions through their funny TikTok videos have been left "devastated" after their home was destroyed in a suspected arson attack.
Dad Nick Smithy, 33, and his family spent four months renovating their home, ploughing all their "hard-worked money" into the dream property, reports the BBC.
The family's home in in Welling, south-east London was left a burnt-out shell after fire raged through the building on Wednesday night after starting in a car parked outside the house.
Fire crews from the London Fire Brigade battled to bring the blaze under control for around 90 minutes after the Smithy family managed to make their escape.
Nick and Jess Smithy had to grab their newborn baby boy and two young daughters Amelia, six, and Isabella, nine, after realising their car was on fire at about 10pm.
Despite the terrible damage, Nick was thankful that those in the house managed to get out and on another day it could have ended up with seven people dead.
Speaking on his TikTok channel the 33-year-old told his followers the "house is not okay" and if the fire had been at midnight "we might not have got down them steps."

The Metropolitan Police have confirmed that the fire is being treated as suspected arson and will be fully investigated.
The shocking incident comes after the popular family were targeted by trolls, which led to their address being leaked online.
They have received a variety of unwanted deliveries, including takeaways they didn't order and even escorts turning up at their door.

Nick, who has ADHD, told the BBC: "Doing social media means I'm there for my kids and I'm enjoying their time and company and it's been wonderful and joyous. But it's also been devastating and damaging.
"We've come to the realisation that in the world of social media you're better off hidden."
In a TikTok video, Nick claimed that two people were responsible for the attack on his family home.

"To the two people who have done this, you could have killed our family and not only our family, my neighbours, my friends," he said.
"It’s unforgivable."
The popular family became famed for posting funny videos of their home life, including Nick dressing up in tights and him getting a Gareth Southgate tattoo on his leg.
They believe that the attack could have been born from jealousy of their success and Nick being able to give up bricklaying seven days a week.
He said: "I just want to be with my family, and I want to be safe, and I want to protect them, and we need to step back, to readjust, reassess and find out what the best way to move forward is.
"At the end of the day, I'm not going to give up what's making us happy."
