Prince Charles has been pictured leaving Windsor Castle with tears in his eyes, days before his dad's funeral.
Prince Philip passed away on April 9, aged 99, with the ceremony set to take place at the weekend.
The Prince of Wales today read tributes left at a royal residence after the duke's death.
He and Camilla paid a visit to Marlborough House Gardens, headquarters of the Commonwealth.
A Clarence House spokesman said: "The flowers and condolence messages have been moved from outside Buckingham Palace and within the Royal Parks to the private gardens at Marlborough House.
"The Royal Parks will continue to move the flowers during this period of National Mourning. Marlborough House Gardens was chosen so as not to encourage crowds from gathering outside the Royal Palaces due to Covid-19."
Later in the day, Charles was driven to Windsor Castle for a rehearsal of Philip's funeral.
He looked tearful as he left the castle grounds.
Philip reportedly requested a funeral without fuss, and his coffin has been kept out of the public eye.
The ceremony is set to begin at 3pm after a national minute’s silence, and is expected to last around 50 minutes.
At 2.41pm, the coffin will be carried out of Windsor Castle’s state entrance.
Three minutes later, the Queen will have a “moment of reflection” to look at her husband’s coffin from her car before it is taken into the chapel.
After the service, Philip will be interred in St George’s Chapel’s Royal Vault.

Charles earlier paid tribute to his "dear Papa" in a moving message.
He said: "I particularly wanted to say that my father, for I suppose the last 70 years, has given the most remarkable, devoted service to The Queen, to my family and to the country, but also to the whole of the Commonwealth.”
Charles continued: "As you can imagine, my family and I miss my father enormously.
"He was a much loved and appreciated figure and apart from anything else, I can imagine, he would be so deeply touched by the number of other people here and elsewhere around the world and the Commonwealth, who also I think, share our loss and our sorrow.
"My dear Papa was a very special person who I think above all else would have been amazed by the reaction and the touching things that have been said about him and from that point of view we are, my family, deeply grateful for all that.
"It will sustain us in this particular loss and at this particularly sad time. Thank you.”

Prince William and Prince Harry will not walk side-by-side in grief during the funeral procession for their grandfather, it was today confirmed.
Harry and William will instead be separated by their cousin Peter Philips, son of the Duke of Edinburgh’s daughter, Princess Anne.
The trio will walk behind their grandfather’s coffin in line as it is taken into St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.
William will then move ahead of his brother as the Royal Family arrive at the Chapel.
