Three people have been killed in a devastating car crash, with emergency services dispatched to the scene.
Police officers were called to Romney Road, in Lydd, Kent, at 6.20pm on Sunday, April 18, after a collision between a Dacia and a BMW.
It was closed until 6.30am this morning as ambulance crews responded.
The Dacia driver, a woman in her 50s, and two male passengers in the BMW, one in his 20s and another in his 40s, were all pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the BMW, a man in his 30s, was airlifted to a London hospital with serious injuries.
Kent Police said in a statement: "Witnesses to the collision or anyone who saw either vehicle travelling beforehand are urged to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 01622 798538 or email [email protected].
"Officers are also keen to hear from anyone who may have dashcam or CCTV footage that may assist them."
