AN Uber driver has been sacked after telling two passengers "I don't take Jews."
The London-based driver – who called himself Ahmad – was permanently banned by the ride-sharing app after cancelling the booking in High Road, Wembley.
One of the men, Sam Adler, said the driver "turned around" after spotting the two men wearing kipppahs – a traditional Jewish headdress.
He told the Jewish Chronicle: "He turned around, and as he drove past us, said 'I don't take Jews.'
"Then he hightailed it, just legged it."
Ahmed then cancelled the ride via the app.
Uber apologised to Sam and his pal before banning the driver for life – but refused to offer the pair compensation.

The firm told him: "We would never want to minimise an experience like you describe by putting an arbitrary monetary value on the situation."
It comes amid reports that activists who blamed Jews for 9/11 and accused Theresa May of plotting the Manchester bombing were allowed to stay in Jeremy Corbyn's Labour party.
The two conspiracy theorists are among hundreds of party members who escaped serious punishment despite spreading hateful views online.
