UK’s top fish and chip shops announced – read list of Britain’s best batterers

The UK's top fish and chip shops have been revealed, as the categories for the 2023 National Fish and Chip awards have been announced.

The annual awards ceremony, hosted this year by comedian Jason Manford, will take place in London next week (February 28) as organised by the National Federation of Fish Friers – yes, Daily Star readers, that is a thing.

Winners of the awards are decided by a panel of anonymous experts who taste-test every finalist.
