‘UK’s worst house’ on market for just £15k despite looking like a drug den

A rundown bungalow on the market for just £15,000 has been dubbed the “worst house in the UK”.

House-hunter Adam Bruce, 32, showed just how knackered the property in Bradford, West Yorks., is in a TikTok posted earlier this month.

An external image of the property showed two destroyed sofas turned upside down in the derelict front garden.

Inside is a rundown and unmaintained home with green moss covering the walls and stones out front, while the door and window frames appear to be caving in.

The property, which is being sold by estate agents McHugh & Co features little description in its Rightmove listing, instead reading: "Situated on Little Horton Lane, close to local shopping facilities and a short drive from the amenities available in Bradford City Centre including Bradford Interchange Train Station.

"A terrace single storey bungalow requiring complete modernisation with accommodation comprising three rooms and a front garden”.

One room is pictured completely destroyed with rubble piling up in every corner.

Several bright coloured, childlike paintings on the walls contrast an ominous message written in red paint above a door frame, reading “Abandon all hope, you who enter in” with an arrow pointing through the door below.

Another message on the wall of the bungalow simply says “repent”.

Artistic red swirls can be seen drawn onto the stained walls and a mountain of newspapers is on the floor next to a broom.

One room also played host to an open electrical unit, haphazardly covered in red tape which read “Do not use”.

Properties in Bradford had an overall average price of £190,191 over the last year, according to Rightmove, making the bungalow more than 10 times cheaper than other properties in the city.

Social media users ripped into the property for its shoddy state.

One user joked: "Banksy's secret art studio obviously."

Another cheekily said: " Bet there's been some needle work done in there."
