The Andrews government will scrap the five-kilometre restriction on movement and reopen school for all year levels as the state prepares to slowly ease out of its fifth lockdown.

In this article you will find a run through of the new rules for the state, to apply from 11.59pm on Tuesday, July 27.

The state will return settings similar to those in place when Victoria exited its last lockdown.

The limit on travel beyond five kilometres will be scrapped. Home visits, however, are still banned.
