A Place in the Sun star Danni Menzies has revealed her shocking facial injuries after being hit by a stolen moped travelling at 30mph.
The TV presenter, 35, was rushed to hospital earlier this month after two females attempting to steal an unattended moped lost control of the vehicle and hit Danni, leaving her unconscious on the pavement.
In photos taken at the scene of the horror accident, which is being investigated by the Met Police, Danni’s head is covered in blood, her nose is significantly swollen, and she’s covered in bloody cuts and bruises.
Danni was exiting a newsagent close to her home in Battersea, London, when she was suddenly flung off the pavement by the out of control moped, which had been left by its owner who was delivering a package nearby.

‘Truly horrible’: The TV presenter was rushed to hospital earlier this month after two females attempting to steal an unattended moped lost control of the vehicle and hit Danni, leaving her unconscious
After being taken to hospital by an ambulance, Danni has since been recovering at home – but the incident has left her with post-traumatic stress disorder and post traumatic vertigo, which is dizziness a patient suffers following a head injury.
A source close to Danni told MailOnline: ‘She’s had a truly horrible experience.
‘No one expects to be knocked unconscious while shopping at their local newsagent and the accident has left Danni in shock and fearful to leave the house.
‘She’s taking time at home and her mum is by her side – but it’s been a scary ordeal.
‘All she hopes now is to regain her confidence, take time offline to recover, and for her facial wounds to completely heal.’

‘She was knocked unconscious and suffered significant facial wounds. She is recuperating at home and resting until the concussion subsides.’
Last week, Danni told her Instagram followers she had been involved in an accident and would be taking time away from social media to recover.
She said alongside a black and white image of the moped: ‘So, on Saturday I was taken out (on the pavement!) by a stolen moped that lost control.
‘Didn’t see it coming and it’s not looking pretty right now to be honest.
‘I’m sure I will be fine in a few weeks but in the meantime, I might be a wee bit quiet on here.’

Danni found fame in 2016 on Channel 4 show A Place in the Sun, where she helped hundreds of house-hunters find their dream property abroad.

In July, the Formula 1 fanatic called for Top Gear to recruit a female presenter and said not enough women are involved in motorsports.
She said: ‘When I was growing up, I loved cars and I would have loved to have tried to do some sort of driving stuff.
‘It just wasn’t even something you would even think about or talk about or do because girls just didn’t do it and that sucks.
‘I never saw any girls when I was moving into presenting fronting anything car related.
‘If I’d have seen a woman on Top Gear 10 years ago, I probably would have made different choices.’
