Mrs Hinch shares sweet video of son and says she’s ‘lost for words’ after autism diagnosis

Sophie Hinchcliffe has posted a sweet clip of the moment her eldest son Ronnie told her he loves her, after revealing he's been diagnosed with autism.

The 34 year old, known on social media as Mrs Hinch, took to her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, 20 December, to share the adorable video with her 4.7 million followers.

Ronnie, four, could be seen helping his mum with her make-up as they sat together. Sophie, who is also mum to son Lennie, two, then said: "Ron, I love you," to which he immediately replied: "Love you, mummy."

The mum-of-two could be seen trying to hold back tears as Ronnie continued to help her apply powder to her cheeks.

Sophie captioned the video: "I remember this moment like it was yesterday. You changed my world Ron. Thank you everyone I'm lost for words tonight love you all xx," she also added: "Why fit in when we were born to stand out Ron."

Mrs Hinch has previously spoken on social media about how Ronnie had to undergo speech therapy due to delayed speech.

Sophie's post came shortly after she shared a photograph of her Ronnie on her main Instagram feed and revealed both she and her eldest son have been diagnosed with autism.

She posted a screenshot of a message from a fan, who politely asked if Ronnie had been diagnosed with autism after Sophie recently shared a video of both of her sons meeting the Grinch.

"A question I am asked daily. Mrs Hinch, is Ronnie autistic? Yes, our wonderful Ronnie is autistic. In fact, I am too. Both Ron and I have had confirmation for a while now. We decided as a family to take our time to process, to learn, to grow and to find our way together before we shared," the mum-of-two penned.

"So that’s exactly what we did and are continuing to do each day. We have hard days but we also have lots of magical days. And if only everyone accepted and understood autism, the world really would be a much better place."

Sophie concluded her post with an emotional tribute to her eldest child, writing: "Ronnie, thank you for being ours, for being so precious and simply incredible. Because of you everything finally made sense to me after 33 years. You are my absolute inspiration in life. I love you Ron … Mummy is right here with you, in this together, forever xxx."
