Abbie Quinnen has completed a half marathon to raise money for a burns charity six months after she sustained horrific third-degree burns.
Earlier this year, Abbie was filming a TikTok hack when a wine bottle exploded in her face and engulfed her in flames, requiring her to undergo three skin grafts on her face and upper body.
And the professional dancer proved she had come a long way since the accident, as she revealed on Monday that she had run 13.1 miles to give back to Chelsea and Westminster Hospital after being treated for her injuries there.
Abbie, who was joined by her boyfriend AJ Pritchard and his brother Curtis, shared many photos and clips from the event as she gushed about her milestone achievement.
She wrote in her caption: "I'm so proud of myself for completing the @londonlandmarkshalf 6 months ago I was in icu due to a horrific accident I then stayed at chelsea & Westminster hospital for 5 nights, had 3 operations.
"I think my last operation was about 5 months ago! Today I wanted to give back to the incredible @cwpluscharity for all of their unbelievable help during my time at the hospital & with my current recovery & for sooo many thousands of others that have had similar injuries to me!"
Abbey continued: "I have literally hardly done any exercise since my accident due to me not having any energy to do anything pretty much! So for completing this half a marathon in 2:26 was such an achievement for me! I now feel like I can do anything."
Abbey also thanked AJ and Curtis for being her "rocks" with their "continuous support".
She went on to share a short clip from the half marathon with the caption: "Never in the world did I think I would be able to run half a marathon 6 months after my horrific accident.
"Still feel so emotional after yesterday. Can't believe I did it!
"I incurred 1st, 2nd and 3rd degree burns. Stayed in hospital & had three operations, my last being 5 months ago.
"I was running to give back to CW+ which is where I stayed at hospital, had my operations & still continue to have treatment with them! I can't thank them enough for everything they have done.
"I've had no energy to do anything! Especially any form of exercise. But the support and atmosphere was unreal and that kept me going," she added.
