AFL Grand Final viewers swoon over glamorous opera singer Amy Manford as she performs the Australian National Anthem

Opera singer Amy Manford took to the stage to perform the Australia National Anthem at the AFL Grand Final in Perth on Saturday.

The blonde beauty looked elegant in a stunning gold and lace gown by Pallas Couture – and she certainly commanded attention. 

The crooner won a legion of followers on social media who flocked to Twitter to praise her rendition of the classic song.

One viewer tweeted of the soprano singer: ‘I think I’m in love with the girl singing the Australian national anthem.’

A third, new fan of the singer wrote: ‘Girl singing the National Anthem has a set of lungs on her.’

However, Amy’s rendition did have a number of critics including one who shared: ‘Can I get compensation from the AFL for the surgery required on my eardrums after that national anthem.’

‘Bit unfortunate… Amy’s singing the anthem beautifully but it doesn’t make for rowdy renditions of the national anthem three beers in,’ one wrote.
