Alice Evans has claimed that someone called social services and the police on her with concerns over child abuse and drug and drink use.

The actress, 54, took to Twitter on Friday to allege that someone had sent authorities to her property who then found ‘absolutely no signs of abuse’ and ‘no drugs or drink’.

Alice shares two daughters Ella, 12, and Elsie, eight, with her estranged husband Ioan Gruffudd, 49, – who now has a restraining order against her.

Difficult: Alice Evans has claimed that someone called social services and the police on her with concerns over child abuse and drug and drink use

She penned on social media: ‘Hey everybody. They haters called the police and the police were LOVELY. AMAZING.

‘They interviewed the kids separately at one point and come back to tell me that the kids loved me to pieces and there were absolutely no signs of abuse. I invited them into my house. No alcohol.

‘No drugs no nothing. I was completely sober and they could see that. Whoever it was who called them to say I was drunk and the kids were being abused BY GOD you should be ashamed of yourselves.

Family: Alice shares two daughters Ella, 12, and Elsie, eight, with her estranged husband Ioan Gruffudd, 49, – who now has a restraining order against her

‘You caused a perfectly happy (and sober) family to get a police visit. Backfired.’

She then tagged an account on Twitter which she claimed was the person who had called the police.

She wrote: ‘THIS is who did it. This is who called the police and woke me up. If ANYBODY has any idea who did this PLEASE let me know. And Twitter – PLEASE find out who they are. it’s IMPERATIVE to our well-being.’

The account then blocked her, which she screen-shotted and wrote in another Tweet: ‘So you call the police round to my house at 9pm and then you’re such a p***y that you do THIS.

Tweet: The actress, 54, took to Twitter on Friday to allege that someone had sent authorities to her property who then found ‘absolutely no signs of abuse’ and ‘no drugs or drink’

‘Jesus Christ. I am now on a mission to find out who you are. Don’t anybody tell me to drop it – I’ve been harassed ever since my husband started cheating 3 yrs ago. I’m DONE.’

She then tagged a different account claiming that person had called social services and wrote: ‘This person two called social services on me.

‘She has been harassing me for a few days: Her tweets to me are vicious, unkind and untrue. Please help me find these people. Hey Jessica – Turns out I WASN’T drinking or ABUSING!’

It comes after last month Alice risked breaching the terms of her restraining order with her estranged husband Ioan by sharing a clip of him on social media.

Not happy: She penned on social media: ‘Hey everybody. They haters called the police and the police were LOVELY. AMAZING’

Alice uploaded, and later deleted, a video of the actor during an Australian radio interview gushing how ‘brilliant and funny’ she is,’ claiming it was filmed months before they split.

This goes against the terms of the restraining order obtained by Ioan which bans Alice from harassing Ioan on social media for three years, though the order states that she is still allowed to comment on proceedings around the order.

Alice posted the 15-second clip with the caption: ‘Somebody sent me this. Thank you to both of you!’

The interview, recorded on Stav, Abby & Matt’s show on the Hit Network in 2019, showed Ioan gushing about his wife, with the Fantastic Four star saying: ‘She is amazing, you’re not the first person in Australia to say this.

Claims: She then tagged an account on Twitter which she claimed was the person who had called the police

‘I’ve met about 10 people here the first thing they’ve said is, ”I’m in love with your wife” – she’s amazing. She’s a very strong funny woman. She’s brilliant. she’s the true star of our relationship.’

If found to be breaching her restraining order, and reported to police by Ioan, Alice could be arrested on suspicion on Contempt Of Court, a violation of Penal Code 166.

If found guilty, Contempt of Court is classed as a misdemeanour offence under California law, and Alice could face at least 180 days in a County jail, with a requirement to serve 50% of her sentence.

In the restraining order, it is stated that the respondant (Alice) should not make any posts on social media, harassing or disturbing the peace of the petitioner (Ioan), or the other protected person (his girlfriend Bianca).

Reaction: She then tagged a different account claiming that person had called social services and wrote: ‘This person two called social services on me’

The order does not prohibit Alice from commenting on the proceedings on social media.

Alice then proceeded to reply to a slew of followers reacting to the video with one asking when she thought the clip had been recorded.

‘I don’t know? Sometime between April – July 2020?’ she responded, just months before she and Ioan announced they’d split in January 2021.

Another user posted: ‘Wow. Just wow,’ which Alice replied: ‘Weird, right.’

Speaking out: It comes after last month Alice risked breaching the terms of her restraining order with her estranged husband Ioan by sharing a clip of him on social media

One follower replied: ‘Totally weird considering the complete 180 he pulls on you later on. I don’t mean to sound flippant or disrespectful. So weird.’

Alice then responded once again: ‘You’re not. I’m astonished.’

Later another user wrote: ‘Alice I love this all so true. Maybe you should send this to his lawyer?! Considering what has been happening over the last year or two.’

Alice then responded: ‘I should take it down and send it to MY lawyer is what I should do. Thanks babe.

‘It was already on the internet, but when I was notified of it I was surprised since it goes in the face of everything he has said. better let her deal with it!’

Ioan had previously won a temporary restraining order against Alice the mother of his two daughters in February claiming he was inundated with messages and verbal threats from her.

But in August, a US judge confirmed harsher restrictions had been put in place, including a ruling preventing Alice from leaking private text messages from their children.

A source said: ‘Ioan had no choice but to up his legal fight over Alice.

‘She had become increasingly volatile and seemingly intent on destroying his career with her character assassination. He hopes this will put an end to it.’

Violation: This went against the terms of the restraining order obtained by Ioan which bans Alice from mentioning him on social media for three years (pictured with new girlfriend Bianca Wallace in August)

Ioan was in attendance inside the LA court to witness the Domestic Violence Restraining Order granted, but Alice did not appear.

In new court documents, Ioan claimed Alice continued to cause him issues and wanted additional provisions added to the existing restraining order.

He demanded Alice should not make any posts on any social media account, ‘including but not limited to Instagram and Twitter accounts, disparaging or harassing [Ioan] or the other protected person.’

The other person is listed as Ioan’s new girlfriend, Bianca Wallace, who he started dating shortly after their split.

Plus, he requested Alice not to post his text messages or any other communications to the parties’ children, or the children’s text messages or any other communications to Ioan, on any social media account.

He also asked for the judge to order Alice not to contact his employer or make disparaging statements about him to his employers.

Further in court documents, Ioan said since the restraining order was put in place, Alice ‘has used her social media accounts to continue to harass, threaten, and disturb the peace of both me and my girlfriend, Bianca Wallace.’

Last month, The Vampire Diaries actress Alice shared a screenshot appearing to be between Ioan and one of his daughters, who is thought to be asking him to sign paperwork so that she can stay at her school – amid allegations that he stopped paying her fees.

Alice told her 86,000 Instagram followers: ‘You see – I have no money. I gave up my career because I wanted the love of my life to have an amazing career and that leaves him being away most of the time.

Declaration: Ioan went public with his actress girlfriend Bianca in October last year and was captioned: ‘Thank you for making me smile again’

‘And I gritted my teeth and I got through it. I missed working’ oh hell I missed working’ but I didn’t want a day to go by without seeing my two incredible girls. So their was an upside.’

Calling out Ioan’s alleged spending habits, she continued: ‘He is STILL trying to ruin my name, filling out petition after petition … daring to say that I am the ‘bad parent’?

‘(Check out his Guardian interview from 2020. Ask my kids. As anybody that knows us. Being called a ‘bad parent’ when I gave up everything for them and don’t sleep at night in case and worry about how to feed them, check their health, take them to the dentist…. [sic].

‘Those of you who might think ‘well why is she CONTINUING to post on Instagram when his lawyers are going to take her down for it?’ But think about it.

‘He is spending money that should have gone to the girls education, sports, college, on using a lawyer to gag me.

Father: Fantastic Four actor Gruffudd filed for joint custody of his two daughters Elsie, eight, and Ella, 12, after his estranged wife, Evans filed for sole custody

‘I don’t have this money and neither do I believe in the corruption of the TRO to shut somebody up when they’re trying to say their piece,’ she penned. ‘HE gets to say it. HE get to to lie about me being a bad parent (You couldn’t get further from the truth.)

‘But me? I get threatened with fines, with jail if I tell MY TRUTH about what is really happening. And all I have is social media because I can’t afford a lawyer. Isn’t that a microcosm of rich and poor America? I will likely go to court for posting this. (Another example of the way he treats his children).’

Alice added: ‘He may well be lauded for doing the right thing. For going through the courts. He may well get to take my kids away from me (good luck with that dude).’

The previous month in June, Alice claimed she was ‘completely out of money for food and bills’ while sharing a video of daughter Elsie.

She wrote: ‘Trying to hold it all together whilst being threatened, completely out of money for food and bills and just found out somebody tried to break down our outside door last night!

‘But it’s all worth it for this (and the one who doesn’t want to be photographed.’

Ioan and Alice met on the set of 102 Dalmatians in 2000 and married seven years later.

The Welsh actor filed for divorce in March 2021 citing irreconcilable differences as the reason behind their split.

The document, which was filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on March 1, revealed the former couple separated on New Year’s Day – a month before they went public with their relationship status.

Ioan went Instagram official with new girlfriend Bianca last October with a post saying: ‘Thank you for making me smile again.’

Alice reacted furiously, ranting: ‘So it turns out my husband, after two years of telling me I’m a bad person and I’m not exciting and he no longer wants to have sex with me… has been in a relationship for three years behind my back.’

Happier times: Evans and Gruffudd met on the set of 102 Dalmatians in 2000, when the actress was in a relationship with Pablo Picasso’s grandson Olivier (pictured in 2001)
