Amanda Bynes was seen having a night out in Hollywood on St Patrick’s Day on Friday – less than two days before she was placed on a psychiatric hold.
The troubled actress, 36, was hospitalized after she was seen walking near downtown Los Angeles early on Sunday morning without any clothes on – she was later placed on a 5150 psychiatric hold.
Exclusive DailyMail.com video shows the She’s The Man star clad in a black tee with a bone design, paired with joggers and sneakers as she walks with a friend on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Friday, March 17.
The actress appears coherent as she chats with her friend on the night out, recorded less than two days before she would be found wandering naked and alone in the midst of a ‘psychotic episode’ and hours before she canceled a scheduled public appearance on Saturday.
The star was also captured on a fan’s TikTok, which was captioned: ‘Happy shes getting the help she needs. she was sweet, gave her some money and talked. sometime ppl just need sb to talk to. ‘
In the clip, the fan says ‘I saw her walking and had to say what’s up?’ as Amanda says: ‘What’s up.’
Bynes’ former fiancé Paul Michael claims she had gone ‘off her meds’ before she was put on a psychiatric hold.

Claim: Bynes’ former fiancé Paul Michael claims she had gone ‘off her meds’ before she was put on a psychiatric hold
Paul, who has been in an on-off relationship with Amanda since they broke off their engagement last July before getting back together a month later, told Page Six: ‘She got off her meds, and she’s still off her meds… She’s wild.’
Paul added he and Amanda are ‘friends now’, after it was reported they had been living together in LA.
Amanda previously accused Paul on her Instagram of not ‘taking his medications,’ relapsing with ‘crack cocaine’ and watching ‘mom-and-son porn’ before she ‘kicked him out’ of her house.
He added: ‘(Amanda) tried to kick me out, but I left to get my own place.
I moved home and established boundaries.’
Paul also insisted Amanda ‘lied’ about her previous drug use and pornography accusations against him, claiming she ’embarrassed’ him in order ‘to keep the attention off her.’
He said: ‘She acted to shame me away,’ adding Amanda ‘lied and cheated and had too many flings the entire time’ they were together.
Bynes and Michael famously got engaged on Valentine’s Day 2020, mere months after staying at the same sober living facility.

On Sunday Bynes is said to have waved a car down, telling a driver she was ‘coming down from a psychotic episode’ before she called 911.
Bynes was taken to a police station where a mental health team placed her on a 5150 psychiatric hold.
A 5150 is a legal action from the CA Welfare and Institutions Code. It allows a qualified officer or clinician to confine someone against their will for 72 hours which can be extended. During this time, the person will be fully assessed for their mental health status.
Bynes is currently hospitalized and will likely receive care for several days. She is not believed to have been hurt during the incident.
DailyMail.com contacted Bynes’ representative for comment.
This comes after the actress pulled out of reuniting with the rest of the All That cast at ’90s Con on Saturday, citing an ‘unknown illness’, according to That’s 4 Entertainment.
At the last minute, the actress, who previously expressed her eagerness to reconnect with her former Nickelodeon castmates at the event, had to cancel.
Her attendance at the highly-anticipated reunion, alongside Kenan Thompson, Kel Mitchell, Danny Tamberelli and Lori Beth Denberg, would have marked her first public appearance since the end of her eight-year conservatorship in March 2022.
She has yet to publicly address the health concern that prevented her from going, but just two months ago, she told People that she was ‘really excited to reunite with’ her ‘cast mates and meet the fans’ 23 years after the original show ended.
The performer starred on the sketch comedy show from 1996 to 2000 alongside Mitchell, 44, Tamberelli, 40, and Denberg, 46.
All That was created by Brian Robbins and Mike Tollin and originally aired on Nickelodeon from April 16, 1994, to October 22, 2005, lasting ten seasons.
The series, which was billed as ‘SNL for kids’ boasted short comedy sketches and musical guests.
In 2019 a revival of the series with original cast member Kenan Thompson serving as executive producer and Mitchell rejoining the cast was confirmed, with the 11th season airing in June of that year.

Sighting: Bynes is pictured on January 18 2023 on a coffee run
The last episode of the series aired on December 17, 2020, after production was suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
It launched Bynes into her noughties romcom era, before the embattled star stepped away from acting.
Sources close to the star have told TMZ that she an Michael are only dating after calling off their engagement over the summer.
Rumors of their latest reunion first arose earlier in October of 2022 when the Nickelodeon star shared a mysterious image of herself holding hands with Paul Michael – who could be recognized by his distinctive tattoos – on her Instagram Story.
The cozy photo came nearly two months after news first broke that the pair had ended their two-year engagement.
The subtle hint of Amanda’s photo featured Paul’s tattooed grip holding on to her heavily manicured hand.
Neither appeared to be wearing any rings on their hands following news on July 8 that they had ended their engagement ‘sometime in 2021.’
‘They are still together as a couple,’ an insider stressed to ET at the time of their supposed split. ‘They are still in a committed relationship and take their relationship seriously.’

On April 28, the Easy A alum called 911 on the healthcare worker during a dispute over him relapsing. She accused him of vandalizing his mother’s home, looking at MILF porn, and being off his meds.
Aside from Amanda’s busy love life, the star has also reportedly been developing a ‘fragrance line’ as she pursues another degree at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising after earning her associate’s degree there in 2019.
In March of 2022, Bynes was freed of her nine-year legal conservatorship controlled by her mother Lynn.
Amanda’s conservatorship began in 2013 when she was involuntarily committed to a Pasadena psychiatric treatment facility following a public meltdown involving a string of bizarre run-ins with the law dating back to 2012.
Bynes’ offenses were two hit-and-runs and a DUI in 2012, as well as a 2013 arrest for throwing a bong out of a window of the 36th floor of her Manhattan apartment.
Bynes’ parents Lynn and Rick are reportedly not planning to put her back in a conservatorship despite her purported mental health woes.
However her family is said to have taken note of the fact that she realized she was unwell and sought treatment herself, reports TMZ.
