She’s known for her risqué outfit choices and not holding back when it comes to fashion.

But Amanda Holden, 51, has revealed it’s not quite the same story when it comes to her 16-year-old daughter, Lexi – admitting she ‘confiscates’ skimpy clothing from the teen.

Jesting that she will ‘give them back in two years’, the Britain’s Got Talent judge ensures the ensembles won’t go to waste as she takes them to wear herself.

Talking to The Sun, Amanda recalled taking a top from Lexi’s wardrobe that the teen was planning to wear to Reading festival.

She explained: ‘There’s this sequinned . . . I wouldn’t even call it a bikini top. My daughter’s 16!

‘I went, “No, you’re not wearing that to Reading Festival, but Mummy can have it,” so Mummy’s got it, and waiting for a moment to wear it.

‘It just about covers the bits up top that you would expect it to cover, but it was definitely not for my daughter. In two years, she can have it back.’

And despite the ban on her daughter’s wardrobe choices, the TV personality insisted that her family ‘love’ Amanda’s daring sense of style.

She is also mother to ten-year-old Hollie, and shares the girls with her record producer husband Chris Hughes. 

The beauty explained that her husband Chris encourages her often bold choice of outfits and says ‘get your legs out’.

Amanda has preivously recieved a slew of Offcom complaints for her outfit choices when judging Britain’s Got Talent – with plunging necklines and cut-outs getting her into hot water with viewers.

But earlier this year, she insisted she would not tone down her outfits, adding that she enjoys wearing latex at the auditions and said she doesn’t think anyone should feel pressure to ‘dress for your age’. 

Not letting the naysayers get to her, Amanda told the Mirror: ‘I’m thinking more rubber – I enjoyed wearing latex in the auditions, so I’m thinking more latex, more sweating in the lives.’ 

While she also told disapproving fans to ‘get over it’ after recieving backlash for cold weather meaning her nipples have been displayed through outfits.

She explained to The Sun: ‘I’m just like, “Get over it”. It doesn’t seem to matter when you see boys’ nipples, so I just don’t get why it matters when you can see girls’. 

‘It’s everyone else that makes the fuss about them.’
