Yummy: The blonde held up her personalised mug with delight while tucking into her snack
‘You may not have ever tried vegan or vegetarian food before, but I’m promising you now… Marks and Spencer are delivering you a treat!
‘You can barely taste the difference. Where can you go wrong with a beautiful cup of tea, happy new year!’
Earlier in the day, the blonde recorded a live performance of West End hit I Know Him So Well for forthcoming BBC Radio 2 and BBC One’s Musical: The Greatest Show with her close friend Sheridan Smith at London Palladium.
Originally released by Barbara Dickson and Elaine Paige in 1984, the track – a key number from hit musical Chess – also features on Amanda’s recent covers album, Songs From The Heart.
Consisting mainly of show tunes, the album proved to be an unexpected hit for the presenter by reaching number four on the UK chart.
Speaking exclusively to MailOnline following its release, the media personality said husband Chris Hughes and their two daughters, Alexa, 14, and Hollie, eight, were hugely proud of her chart success.
Amanda said: ‘They’re really proud of Mummy. I think they were a bit like,”What? I can’t believe it!”, especially when I overtook Dua Lipa in the album charts, they were a bit flabbergasted by that.
‘But they’re my daughters, I’m their Mummy. They’re not really keeping an eye on it until Daddy says something at teatime.
‘Chris is enormously proud. He’s been like a proud parent, if that’s the right thing to say, going around talking about it.
‘It was wonderful to be with him throughout it all. It was our project. So, to have the success together has been the icing on the cake for me.’
