And on Saturday, Arnold Schwarzenegger proved that he was keeping himself in peak physical condition while riding his bike with two of his friends in Los Angeles.
The Terminator star, who turned 74 on Friday, appeared to be enjoying his time on wheels as he chatted with his friends and flashed a smile as the group of three made their way down one of the city’s roads.

Schwarzenegger was dressed in a dark blue puffy Patagonia jacket worn above a black t-shirt during the ride.
The former governor of California also sported a pair of black shorts that exposed his impressively chiseled legs, as well as a set of leather sneakers.
The Kindergarten Cop star kept a pair of tinted sunglasses on as he made his way down a bike path with his pals.
The performer’s outing comes ahead of the debut of two projects in which he is set to appear.

Schwarzenegger will portray The President in the upcoming martial arts comedy flick, Kung Fury 2.
The feature will serve as a sequel to the original 2015 short film, which parodied various 1980s movies and tropes.
The performer’s involvement with the picture was originally confirmed by The Hollywood Reporter, who noted that the project’s storyline involved a police officer traveling through space and time to protect a martial arts academy.
David Sandberg who directed, wrote and starred in the first film, will reprise his role as Kung Fury in the new flick.

Also set to appear in the movie are Michael Fassbender, Alexandra Shipp and Jorma Taccone, with David Hasselhoff rounding out the cast.
Eiza Gonzalez was originally supposed to act in the project, but she dropped out and was replaced by the X-Men franchise star.
Physical production originally began in July of 2019 and continued throughout the summer before it wrapped in September.
Although the feature’s producers ran into various legal issues during the post-production process, it was later announced that Kung Fury 2 would make its debut at an unspecified date in 2022.

Schwarzenegger is also set to make his first strides into scripted television with a currently untitled production from Skydance TV.
The news about the series was initially broken by Deadline, who reported that the former politician would perform a father who finds out that he and his daughter have been working as CIA operatives for years without realizing it.
Monica Barbaro is currently set to appear alongside the former Mr. Olympia winner, who will serve as one of the project’s executive producers.
The show was created by Nick Santora, who is known for his work on series such as The Sopranos and Scorpion.

Schwarzenegger spoke to the media outlet about the upcoming project and noted that many of his longtime followers have wanted to see him in a television series.
‘Fans from all over the world have been asking me for a wild ride like this for years, and now they’re finally going to get it,’ he said.
He also expressed his excitement to begin filming the show, as he stated: ‘I am beyond pumped to start work on the show with Nick and Monica and the whole team.’
The currently untitled project is set to make its debut on Netflix at an unspecified date in the future.
