Benedict Cumberbatch has hit back at the ‘p***takers’ after he was compared to Ali G following a recent cover shoot with W magazine.
The Marvel actor, 45, donned a yellow bucket hat and tinned shades with black frames, reminiscent of those worn by the fictional Sasha Baron Cohen character.
The Dr Strange star didn’t hold back with his comments after social media users drew comparison between the two, saying: ‘F*** the p**s takers!’

The eye-catching cover saw Benedicr posing in a floral print polo shirt while holding a stem of daisies in a shoot with fashion photographer Tim Walker.
Discussing the Ali G-esque look, Benedict told Times Radio: ‘found it very freeing to go, ‘Yeah, fine, I’m just surrendering myself to an artist’s concept…
‘And yeah, f*** the p**s takers… I don’t have to defend Tim [Walker].’

Despite feeling ‘free’ during Tim’s shoot, Benedict did admit that he won’t be copying the look anytime soon.
He said: ‘You won’t be seeing me walking around in a Fendi bucket hat or whatever it was anytime soon or a 10 gallon hat that doesn’t fit my rather large head anyway.’
