Prior to this, the reality TV star dissed Meghan over reports that the Duchess bullied staff members at the palace before her royal exit with Prince Harry and accused her of playing a pity party.
AceShowbiz –Bethenny Frankel has retracted her earlier comments on Meghan Markle after watching “Oprah With Meghan and Harry: A CBS Primetime Special” on Sunday, March 7. The former “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star, who previously blasted the Duchess of Sussex, has made use of her Twitter account to issue an apology over her statement.
“I watched M & H sit down. Emotional distress & racism must feel suffocating & powerless,” so Bethenny wrote on the blue bird app on Sunday. She admitted to being “a polarizing, unfiltered(often to a fault)flawed person w a voice.”
The TV personality went on to say, “When I heard of the interview, during a pandemic, it felt like a surprising choice.” She concluded her tweet, “I’m sorry if it hurt or offended you.”
Bethenny Frankel apologized for putting Meghan Markle on blast.

Earlier that day, Bethenny dissed Meghan over reports that the Duchess bullied staff members at the palace before her royal exit with Prince Harry. In a series of posts, the TV star wrote, “Not since @MonicaLewinsky interview, have people been obsessed with a young female interview like this #MARRY interview. Remember the famous lip gloss?”
Seemingly accusing the “Suits” alum of playing a pity party, Bethenny went on to quip, “Cry me a river…the plight of being a game show host, fairly unknown actress, to suffering in a palace, w tiaras & 7 figure weddings for TWO WHOLE YEARS to being a household name w @Oprah on speed dial, fetching 7 m for interviews, hundreds of millions in media deals.”
However, she appeared to be more sympathetic towards Harry. “I [100 per cent] give Harry a break,” she urged. “This isn’t the way to generate less press & cannot be filed under the guise of wanting privacy to prevent a repeat of previous events.”
“I chose reality tv, to work towards making $, to be scrutinized & criticized.I took the trappings & the beatings along with it. It’s a rose w petals & thorns. People beg to enter the often toxic institution I signed up for. That WAS the life I chose. You can’t play stupid & smart,” she went on to say. “If you hate me for saying it here don’t listen to my podcast #justbwithbethenny it’s littered with my opinion. I think she is in the movie Poseidon Adventure, thinking she is going to the top of the boat….”
