Met Gala 2022: Blake Lively poses with Ryan Reynolds
Blake Lively showed just how much of a Great British Bake Off fan she is as she promoted the launch a new campaign for her drinks brand, Betty Booze.
The former Gossip Girl star took to social media to share a video featuring one of the faces at the forefront of the Channel 4 show – Paul Hollywood.
The Instagram video showed the actress taking her products to a British cottage and knocking on the door before Hollywood opens up and tastes her drinks.
In a hilarious nod to the baking show, Hollywood seemingly reaches out to give Lively one of his trademark handshakes.
However, the actress is left disappointed as the judge reaches out for a drink instead.

Hollywood responded to the post commenting the pun: “You cake my day on your special day.” (sic)
Delighted friends and fans of the stars also rushed to the post’s comments section to react to the unlikely collaboration.
Actor Hugh Jackman said: “The (non)handshake is everything. Happy birthday to my friend Miss @bettybooze”
Instagram user Moblakley added: “So brilliant and playful. I don’t drink alcohol but I might drink a Betty Booze!”

Alexandrakirsch commented: “This. This. This. A clever, well executed ad that tackles the criticism @blakelively faced for launching an alcohol line. Cheers to this.”
Lively launched her sparkling mixers company Betty Buzz in 2021, after revealing she doesn’t drink herself, despite her husband also owning Aviation American Gin.
She told People at the time: “I know that’s odd coming from the wife of an infamous gin slinger.
“Over the past many years of mixing, but not drinking cocktails, it became clear mixers are the unsung heroes of the drink world and deserve just as much love as alcohol.
“We’ve spent the last three years crafting Betty Buzz and are so excited for people to finally taste it.”
