‘It messed up our schedule’: Aston Martin bosses claim Brad Pitt ‘left the team stressed after overstaying his welcome’ during Grand Prix visit

Brad Pitt reportedly overstayed his welcome during a visit to the Aston Martin Garage during the United States Grand Prix last month.

The Oscar winning actor, 58, was spending time at the major Formula 1 event in preperation for a new role, but allegedly left the team ‘stressed’ during the stay.

Sharing that the screen star and his team were there for longer than expected, team principal Mike Krack admitted that it ‘messed up our schedule,’ according to Motorsport Magazine.

He’s set to portray a Formula 1 driver in an upcoming role, and took to the Dallas Circuit of the Americas in preparation for it.

But it seems he ruffled a few feathers during the visit, with Krack telling the sporting publication: ‘They were with us for a very long time, much longer than expected. To be honest, it even messed up our schedule. 

‘We were a bit stressed then. We will support the project as best we can and see how involved we are. Team owner Lawrence Stroll was also involved,’ he continued.

 McLaren chief chief Andreas Seidl also appeared excited for the upcoming project, hpopinh that it’s to be a ‘Top Gun for cars’.

The new production will shoot during the 2023 championship and features seven-time world champion Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton as a producer.

And according to Deadline, streamer Apple Studios have acquired the new film ahead of it’s release.

During his visit to the Grand Prix, Brad left fans unhappy as TMZ released a video of him blanking Sky Sports commentator and former driver Martin Brundle.

The sportsman attempted to grab the attention of the actor as he made his way through the crowd, but appeared to be snubbed in the awkward moment, which saw Brad say his new film was ‘ top secret’.

But the pundit later posted a message on Twitter to reveal that Brad had reached out to explain the snub, sharing that it was ‘nice’ of him to send him a message. 

He wrote: ‘Got a note from Brad Pitt explaining what happened with our near miss on the Austin grid. Unnecessary, but nice of him.

‘Absolutely nobody is obliged to talk to me on the grid, but as I endeavour to make 10/12 minutes of live and unscripted sports TV I’m obliged to at least ask.’
