Britney Spears ‘has begun preparing to have prenup drafted’… after Sam Asghari joked about getting ‘iron clad prenup’ to protect his Jeep and shoes
Britney Spears has reportedly begun preparing to have a prenup drafted following her engagement to boyfriend Sam Asghari.
The pop star’s team has begun ‘mobilizing’ to draft up a prenup, insiders close to Britney revealed to TMZ.
Britney, 39, who announced she had said ‘yes’ to Sam on Sunday, reportedly has a net worth around $60 million.
The news comes after Britney’s fiance joked about drafting up the legal docs on Instagram, writing: ‘Of course we’re getting iron clad prenup to protect my jeep and shoe collection.’

This will mark Britney’s third marriage, with the star first tying the knot with Jason Alexander in 2004 – with no prenup in place – before wedding Kevin Federline that same year, making the back-up dancer sign an iron-clad 60-page prenuptial agreement.
Britney and childhood friend Jason’s marriage famously only lasted 55 hours, with Jason revealing shortly after their separation that there was no pre-nuptial agreement in place.
Speaking in 2012, Jason told ABC News that upon hearing about the wedding, Britney’s mother Lynne and her managers ‘went crazy because there was no prenup’.
However, when Britney wed back-up dancer Kevin just months later, The Mail on Sunday exclusively revealed that Britney had safeguarded her global business empire with an iron-clad 60-page prenuptial agreement, prior to her wedding in October.
Following Britney and Kevin’s 2007 divorce, The Mail reported that Britney wanted every penny protected by the prenup and ordered her vast legal team to draw up a list of all her worldwide assets.

To find out exactly how much she was worth, they gathered together hundreds of financial and tax statements. These documents were seen by The Mail on Sunday at the time.
The pair were married in a secret ceremony on October 6 – after Federline had signed the agreement that banned him from making any future claim against any assets his wife had prior to their marriage.
Britney and Kevin then welcomed their first son Sean Preston in 2005 and in 2006 Britney gave birth to Jayden.

Sam and Britney first came into each other’s orbit in October 2016, when she starred with the Iran-born actor in her Slumber Party video.
Fittingly, her future fiancé was cast as her love interest.
After initially meeting Sam on her Slumber Party video, Britney made their relationship Instagram official in January of 2017 with a photo of them dining that was posted on New Year’s Day.
In February 2018, Britney celebrated just over year with her boyfriend in a gushing Instagram post.

The pair struck up a romance years after meeting on The Mickey Mouse Club in the 90s.
They confirmed their romance in 1998 and split in 2002.
It was rumoured Britney had cheated on Justin with dance choreographer Wade Robson.
