Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz ‘set to skip Christmas with family again’

Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz are reported to not be spending Christmas with the Beckhams for a second time in a row.

This comes after reports that Nicola and her mother-in-law Victoria Beckham ended their rumoured feud as the pair were seen taking family photos at Victoria's Paris Fashion Week debut.

Brooklyn, 23, and Nicola, 27, tied the knot in April this year at her billionaire father Nelson's estate in Palm Beach, Florida.

Speaking to Heat magazine about the family's reunion in Paris, an insider claimed that it only solved things temporarily.

The insider explained that Nicola feels like she's "done her part” so therefore the Beckhams “owe her one”.

The source said: "Brooklyn explained that his parents were upset – that’s why she turned up to the show.

"But no one believes the reconciliation will last long – especially now Nicola has refused to spend Christmas with the Beckhams for the second year in a row."

The insider then added that dad David Beckham invited his son and daughter-in-law to spend Christmas with them at their Cotswolds home.

However, the newlyweds reportedly explained that it was tradition to spend the first Christmas with the bride's family.

It's been said that Victoria and David have since sent a “pre-Christmas weekend in the Cotswolds, or a New Year’s holiday in Miami” invite to Brooklyn and Nicola.

The insider told Heat: "They are not making it easy for the pair to decline.

"They know Brooklyn wants Nicola to be happy and finds it hard to make plans that might go against her wishes, so they’ll try to fight his corner for him."

OK! has contacted a representative for Brooklyn and Nicola for comment.

Reports of a feud between Nicola and Victoria began when it was alleged that Nicola didn't want to wear a wedding dress designed by Victoria.

Squashing those reports however, Nicola told GRAZIA USA that she intended on wearing her mother-in-law's dress but couldn't because the atelier was unable to make it.

She said: "Well, I was planning on wearing Victoria's wedding dress.

"I was truly so excited to be able to wear a design that my future mother-in-law created. I thought that was so beautiful and such a beautiful story."

She continued: "I thought, 'Oh, this is going to be so fun. One of my best friends and my mom.' We connected to start designing the dress, and then a few days went by and I didn't hear anything.

"Victoria called my mom and said her atelier couldn't make it. So, I spoke to my mom and Leslie, and I was like, 'Well, unfortunately, this can't happen, so what's the next step?'"
