Chris Pratt and his wife Katherine Schwarzenegger take their baby girl Lyla, one, to lunch with her mom Maria Shriver and sister Christina in LA

Chris Pratt and his wife Katherine Schwarzenegger enjoyed a family outing with their one-year-old little girl Lyla in Los Angeles, California on Saturday.

After dining with the best-selling author’s mother Maria Shriver and sister Christina, the Jurassic World star, 42, exited the restaurant chatting with his son Jack, nine, from his past marriage to actress Anna Faris.

While walking back to his car with his firstborn by his side, the father-of-two placed one gently on his boy’s shoulder as Katherine carried their infant.

For the occasion, Pratt wore a blue striped long sleeve, white slacks and black sneakers.

His eldest matched in a blue t-shirt, which he styled with khakis pants and a pair of bright red Nike sneakers.

Katherine, 31, who hosts the popular podcast The Gift of Forgiveness, wore a beige sweater, charcoal grey pants and black sandals.

She opted for a fun half-up, half-down hairstyle and looked every inch the doting mom with her adorable baby in her arms.

Little Lyla was dressed in a cream sweater with pom poms and a floral jumpsuit.

Last week, Shriver, Katherine’s siblings and Jack joined her and Pratt to look for a Christmas tree in Santa Monica.

The outing came after Pratt found himself in trouble with fans last month after he shared a seemingly playful Instagram post that left some up in arms.

He had wished his wife Katherine a happy birthday — six weeks early — and thanked her for giving him a ‘gorgeous healthy daughter.’

But some fans saw that sentiment as a jab at his son Jack, who had been born two months premature and suffered from several health issues.

He weighed only three pounds, 12 ounces, and he was forced to spend a month in the NICU after suffering a cerebral hemorrhage.

Jack later had multiple hernia and eye surgeries, and he continues to have issues with his vision and leg muscles, and his mother Anna previously said he has ‘a little heart issue.’

Upsetting: The outing came after Pratt found himself in trouble with fans last month after he shared a seemingly playful Instagram post that left some up in arms

In the same post, Chris described Katherine as his ‘greatest treasure’ next to a baseball card, as if she were a mere possession, which some fans described as ‘sexist.’

He also jokingly complained about her loud chewing, which some users thought was infantilizing, and he wrote that he would occasionally ‘open a jar of pickles for her.’

While some fans were convinced that Chris had slighted his son, others took the post as a jab at Anna for supposedly giving him an unhealthy child.

‘chris pratt shading his own f**king son with thanking his new wife giving him “a gorgeous healthy daughter” when his son has health issues is such a f**king low blow. i wish i had a father of the year award to hit him with. anna faris and jack doesn’t deserve this s**t,’ wrote one furious Twitter user.

‘So besides all the reasons we know Chris Pratt sucks, did you guys know he left Anna Faris because he wanted a large family and she had a complicated pregnancy with their first kid and didn’t want to go through that again? Yeah he’s a huge piece of s**t,’ claimed another.

Chris’ great relationship with his wife’s family came in handy after he shared his post, as Maria initially commented that it was ‘so sweet’ and later commented again after the backlash.

She called him a ‘good man,’ a ‘great father’ and a ‘great husband’ in her follow-up comment.

The actor described putting on a Christian music playlist while taking a run in the woods, which seemed to have calmed his nerves and boosted his mood.

Chris and Katherine began dating in June 2018, and the two got married the following year, before welcoming Lyla in August 2020.

He was previously married to Faris from 2009 until their 2017 divorce.
