Christina Aguilera showcases her cleavage in plunging top as she belts out some of her iconic tunes at Latin Recording Academy’s 2021 Person of the Year Gala

Christina Aguilera helped honor the beloved singer-songwriter-actor Ruben Blades by performing at the Latin Recording Academy’s 2021 Person of the Year Gala.

The 40-year-old singer took to the stage at the Michelob ULTRA Arena in Las Vegas for the gala event.

The event honored the multi-hyphenate Blades, who has won eight Latin Grammys and nine Grammys while also putting together a strong acting career including roles in AMC’s Fear the Walking Dead.

Aguilera took to the stage with a unique black cutout top with fiery red lines down the plunging neckline.

She also rocked matching black leather pants and black leather heeled boots for her on-stage look.

The Person of the Year Gala comes just a day before the 2021 Latin Grammy Awards, also held at the Michelob Ultra Arena on Thursday.

Aguilera is also scheduled to perform at the Latin Grammy Awards on Thursday, joining a star-studded performer lineup.

Other performers include the Person of the Year winner Ruben Blades, Bad Bunny, Ozuna, Nella, Danna Paola and many more.

Aguilera’s performance at the awards show will be her first since the inaugural show in 2000, and she’ll be joined by Becky G, Nicki Nicole, and Nathy Peluso for a new version of her recently-released Pa Mis Muchachas.

Aguilera, who was raised in Staten Island by an Ecuadorian father and a white mother, won a Latin Grammy in 2001 for her Spanish-language album Mi Reflejo.

Blades was announced as the Latin Recording Academy’s Person of the Year in June, joining past honorees such as Marc Anthony, Shakira and Gloria Estefan.

The multi-hyphenate will be honored for, ‘his continued commitment to fighting for social justice around the world by supporting initiatives that raise awareness towards political oppression, hunger, poverty, and more.’

Aguilera hasn’t released an album since 2018’s Liberation, but she’s been keeping busy in other areas.

She was recently focused with her son Max and daughter Summer in a new family-focused Nintendo Switch commercial that was released last week. 

She also performed River Deep – Mountain High in honor of Tina Turner when she was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in October.
