Cruz Beckham, 18, celebrates passing his driving test by heading to the McDonald’s drive-thru – but will dad David buy him a flash £40k starter car like Brooklyn’s or Romeo’s?
Cruz Beckham celebrated passing his driving test on Friday and his first stop was the McDonald’s drive-thru.
Sharing the news to his Instagram Story, proud dad David, 48, snapped a photo of the aspiring musician, 18, behind the wheel of a burgundy 4×4.
Although it is unclear what car he was driving, the former footballer previously purchased his older brother Brooklyn, 24, a brand new Mercedes C-class – which retails at £37,615 – for his starter car.
Similarly, when Romeo, 21, passed his test in 2021 he was seen behind the wheel of a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, which retails for around £45,000.
‘Watch out someone passed his test! Well done mate, love you,’ David wrote while Cruz smiled from the drivers seat.

In July 2016, Brooklyn was spotted driving his car alone for the first time after passing his driving test.
Settling down in his brand new Mercedes C-class – which retails at £37,615 – the eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham looked perfectly at ease behind the wheel.
He looked casual as he made his way to his car, which can do 0-62mph in 6.7 seconds, in a pair of football shorts.
While driving such a pricey motor, may have intimidated some learner drivers, Brooklyn looked completely nonchalant.
Romeo also appears to have developed his football ace dad’s penchant for luxurious cars as he was seen behind the wheel of a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon in 2021.
He was then seen behind the wheel of the swanky 4×4 motor, which has a 2.0L turbo petrol engine and speeds of up to 100mph, as his companions rode alongside him.
The teenage son of David and Victoria Beckham was also seen driving a £65,000 Maserati Levante.

Romeo looked extremely comfortable behind the wheel of the Maserati, which can reach costs of more than £125,000.
The standard Levante has a 3.0-litre V6 with 345 brake horsepower but customers can also opt for upgrade packs, making it an incredibly powerful vehicle to be cruising around the streets of London.
Brooklyn has an extensive car collection including a re-engineered 1954 classic blue vintage electric Jaguar which retails at $500k (£383,502).
The electrified Jaguar XK140 is thought to have been a wedding present to Brooklyn from his dad David, when he married Nicola.
The former footballer is an investor in the restoration company Lunaz, which electrified and re-engineered the car, having taken a 10 percent stake in June 2021.
Brooklyn was now famously seen driving a £1Million McLaren P1 in Los Angeles last year and was trolled by a Tik Toker over how he paid for the supercar.
The son of multi-millionaires Victoria and David Beckham, was accosted by a popular TikTok star over his fledgling career as a chef after being asked what exactly he did for a living, which allowed him to afford the luxury vehicle.
In the video posted last summer, social media star and YouTuber Daniel Mac, 24, approached Brooklyn to compliment his vehicle.
He then asked what he does for a living to afford such a nice car – before gleefully teasing Brooklyn when he responded that he’s a chef.
‘Hey man, what do you do for a living? Your car’s awesome,’ the TikToker asked Brooklyn after spotting him behind the wheel.
Daniel has become something of a star in his own right on social media, where he has gained notoriety for his videos in which he asks drivers of incredibly pricey vehicles what they do in order to earn enough to pay for such lavish cars.
But while the answers are typically linked to high-earning industries, Brooklyn offered up a very different response, pausing momentarily before replying: ‘Um, I’m a chef.’
‘Are you like the best chef in the world?’ Daniel teasingly him, implying that he would have to be incredibly successful to own a car like that just from cooking at his young age.
‘Trying to be,’ Brooklyn replies.
The answers are often linked to jobs in real estate, private equity and tech – however many videos have gone viral thanks to more surprising responses such as ‘I’m a housewife’.
The video began with Daniel running up to Brooklyn as he drove past in his flashy red sports car, before leaning in with his camera and quizzing the budding chef on his profession.

Recognising the social media star, Brooklyn initially said: ‘Oh my god, I know you.’
Daniel asks him: ‘What’s your chef name? If that’s a thing?’ ‘My name’s Brooklyn’, he replied.
When Daniel asks if Brooklyn has any tips for those who want to get into cooking, the budding chef simply says: ‘Just follow your passion. Whatever makes you happy, just keep doing it.’
