Danniella Westbrook reveals she is getting more face surgery as she heads to Turkey to revamp her look ahead of 50th birthday

Danniella Westbrook has revealed that she is getting another face transformation surgery this weekend.

The former EastEnders star, 49, said that she is flying to Turkey for the procedure as she revamps her look ahead of her 50th birthday later this year.

Explaining that she feels ‘nervous’ after having waited for five to six years to get the surgery done, the actress and TV personality also said ‘it’s about time’.

Danniella has undergone various reconstructive operations in a bid to fix her ‘collapsing’ face due to her previous cocaine addiction and osteoporosis.

Speaking to The Sun at the Rise of the Footsoldier premiere at Leicester Square on Tuesday night, Danniella said: ‘I’m off to Turkey at the weekend.

‘I’m not feeling too bad. A bit nervous but I’m excited because it’s been five or six years of waiting now. It’s about time.’

Danniella also said that she’s doing personal training sessions with former footballer Miles Addison to get her in the ‘best shape of my life’ this year, making her ‘excited about life’.

She previously underwent a rib insertion procedure in 2018, after osteoporosis rotted away her cheekbones and gums and, after spending the last year getting lip filler and Botox, in addition to surgery on her face, she is hoping to get back to her best.

In April Danniella stepped out with a bandage over her nose after another procedure.

The actress’ battle with drugs has been well-publicised, and she famously had her nose reconstructed after her septum collapsed from excessive cocaine use in 2002.

At the height of her use it was reported she would take up to five grams of cocaine a day, blowing close to £250,000 on the drug.

The star has since embarked on multiple rehab stints in order to battle her demons – and revealed she was finally clean in June last year, after attending a clinic in Mijas, Spain.

Danniella first appeared in EastEnders in 1990 at the age of 16 and acted on the soap for three years.

She returned in 1996 but her time was cut short when her off-screen behaviour got her sacked.

She returned again shortly after, but was axed again in 2000 after further disruptive behaviour, admitting she blew £100k on cocaine at the time.

The part was recast between 2002 and 2005, and played by Kim Medcalf, but Danniella returned to the role once more in 2009 until 2010.

Earlier this month, Danniella shared an old snap of the horrific facial injuries she sustained after a terrifying car crash in 1998.

She sported painful looking bruises, cuts and a swollen eye after the accident.

The star captioned it: ‘Had more lives than ya average Pussy cat #blessed.’

Danniella was involved in the horrific head-on crash in 1998 when she was just 24 and afterwards had to have an operation to remove glass from her eyes.

The star – who was at the height of her fame as Sam in EastEnders at the time – wasn’t wearing a seatbelt when she hit the windscreen while her then boyfriend Robert Fernandez was driving.

Her son Kai, who was 14 months at the time, had also been in the car but was unhurt.
