‘I feel more alive and present than ever’: Demi Moore says she looks forward to turning 60 this fall as she poses in a plunging white swimsuit

Demi Moore has never looked better in her life as she is about to turn 60-years-old in November.

And the St Elmo’s Fire actress seems to be very aware of how amazing she appears as she has consistently been showing off her new swimsuit images to Instagram.

On Tuesday the ex wife of Bruce Willis and Ashton Kutcher posted three new cover worthy bathing suit photos where she looked very toned and svelte in white as she enjoyed a dip in a swimming pool by the coast. ‘Cooling off in The Tropez suit,’ she wrote in her caption.

Still a 10: Demi Moore has never looked better in her life as she is about to turn 60-years-old in November. And the St Elmo’s Fire actress seems to be very aware of how amazing she appears as she has consistently been showing off her new swimsuit images to Instagram

The Ghost star was wearing a $145 one-piece from her own collaboration with inclusive swimwear brand Andie, aptly-named the Demi Moore x Andie capsule.

This comes after she told People she is excited to turn 60 in November.

‘You hit 59 and you’re already thinking, “Well, I’m going to be 60.” It feels very liberating. When I think of my grandmother at 60, she in a way seemed to be already resigned to being old. But I feel, in so many ways, more alive and present than ever,’ shared the Brave New World actress.

And she wants women over 60 to feel attractive.

‘It’s changing this idea that women become less desirable as we get older,’ the 59-year-old movie goddess told the site . ‘We don’t want to look matronly or not feel sexy.’

Moore not only acts and writes (her book Inside Out was a bestseller) but she also has three kids: daughters Rumer, 33, Scout, 31, and Tallulah, 28.

Lithe and lovely: On Tuesday the ex wife of Bruce Willis and Ashton Kutcher posted three new cover worthy bathing suit photos where she looked very toned and svelte in white as she enjoyed a dip in a swimming pool by the coast

Slim is in: Moore not only acts and writers (her book Inside Out was a bestseller) but she also has three kids: daughters Rumer, 33, Scout, 31, and Tallulah, 28

Cooling down: The Ghost actress is proud of her age, and wants others to be too. And when she turns 60 this year she does not want to be ‘defined by a number’

Pretty pose: Instead she wants to be defined by her experience. ‘You hit 59 and you’re already thinking, “Well, I’m going to be 60,”‘ explained Moore, who used to be married to Ashton Kutcher

Even though she has accomplished so much in her career, she does not think of herself as an icon.

‘To hear that in relation to yourself seems a bit out-of-body,’ she says.

‘I feel flattered and a bit like, that doesn’t feel like me, but I like it. To me, what an icon has always signified is somebody who’s paved a way and marked something that has moved people or had impact that has been positive.

‘And in that regard, I feel really proud to be put in a category that would be related to that.’

The Empire star shared several images from the new campaign last week.

She had on black and white swimsuits as we as a patterned version as she was seen on a boat, by a swimming pool while holding her petite dog named Pilaf, and also on the balcony of a building.

‘BTS of my new collection with @andieswim! So much fun shooting with the Andie team and @drewescriva. (And a cameo by Pilaf [dog emoji],’ the siren wrote in her Instagram caption for the video.

Haute stuff: ‘It feels very liberating. When I think of my grandmother at 60, she in a way seemed to be already resigned to being old. But I feel, in so many ways, more alive and present than ever,’ she said

The leggy lady seemed flawless in the chic suits. She had no fat on her body at all and was nicely toned with sculpted legs and arms.

Her waistline also seemed rather small.

The star was also seen in several new images from the Andie Swim Instagram page. She was in a black two piece as well as a patterned suit that made the most of her shape.

Laying down on the job: The A Few Good Men actress was showing off her ageless appearance in a behind-the-scenes video and in fresh photos from the Andie Swim Instagram page

She has said that constant workouts and eating only when she is hungry is how she stays so svelte.

Moore says she used to be obsessed with her body.

And in her memoir Inside Out, the movie star detailed how she used to heavily diet and work out to look every inch the Hollywood siren for her blockbuster films.

‘I didn’t feel like I could stop exercising,’ the former Brat Packer wrote in her book

The craze began in 1992 when she as cast opposite Tom Cruise and Jack Nicholson in the military courtroom drama A Few Good Men.

Moore wanted to look her best in the uniform she was asked to wear.

Chilled out in a beautiful place: ‘Cooling off in The Tropez suit,’ she wrote in her caption for the new post

‘It was my job to fit into that unforgiving military uniform I’d be wearing in two months in A Few Good Men,’ said the star, who had already made a name for herself in the films St Elmo’s Fire and About Last Night… with Rob Lowe.

‘Getting in shape for that movie launched the obsession with working out that would consume me over the next five years. I never dared let up.’

But when she was filming A Few Good Men she had just welcomed her daughter Scout.

She wanted the baby weight off.

So she hit the gym hard.

The A lister started ‘excessive exercising’ but because she got so slim she did not have ‘enough fat in her breast milk.’

Demi was told to start giving the child formula. Though the cover girl was ‘crushed’ she didn’t slow down on the exercise.

Next came the movie Indecent Proposal with Robert Redford and Woody Harrelson.

Robert’s character pays $1M to sleep with the brunette, so she felt the pressure to look like a supermodel.

And there was a sex scene.

‘I would be on display again, and all I could think about was my body, my body, my body,’ she said.

Proud pinup: ‘It’s changing this idea that women become less desirable as we get older,’ the 59-year-old movie goddess told People . ‘We don’t want to look matronly or not feel sexy’; seen in 2021

‘I doubled down on my already over-the-top exercise routine. I cut out carbs, I ran and I biked and I worked out on every machine imaginable.’

Then she got sick.

Moore came down with walking pneumonia, which made her take a break from the treadmill.

Then there was another film that would put her body front and center: 1996’s Striptease.

This time she had to look as desirable as can be as she worked a stripper pole.

‘When I was making Striptease, for breakfast I would measure out a half cup of oatmeal and prepare it with water, then for the rest of the day I would have only protein and some vegetables — and that was it,’ she said.

‘If all this obsessing about my body sounds crazy to you, you’re not wrong: eating disorders are crazy, they are a sickness. But that doesn’t make them less real.’
