It comes after Denise revealed Eddie had no idea he would be spending the evening with her during their first blind date.
The former Big Breakfast presenter discussed their humorous first meeting on Steph’s Packed Lunch on Channel 4, and admitted her fiancé thought it was a joke when the restaurant host let slip he would be sitting down with Denise.
She said to presenter Steph McGovern: ‘When I first met Eddie, I went on a blind date. He didn’t know it was me which was quite funny.
‘I was sitting in a bar and he turned up and said, “I’m here to meet a Denise,” he knew my name.

‘The guy said, “Denise Van Outen” and he went, “No, it’s not her” like thinking it was a joke. Then of course he also went, “It is you!”‘
She also revealed the secret ingredient to their successful first date was margaritas, and lots of them.
Denise added: ‘I’ve got the receipt from our first date, I’ve kept it. It was the 22nd of May and it was literally margarita, margarita, margarita, margarita, there’s about 20 margaritas on it.
‘At some point, you know when you’re drunk and we’ve gone, “we really should eat something”, we’ve ordered the most random thing – just a bowl of chipolatas! Then it goes back to margarita, margarita, margarita…’

Denise and Eddie decided to ride out the coronavirus storm and delay their eagerly-awaited nuptials so they can have a grand celebration with their nearest and dearest.
The TV personality said she’s happy to jump to the back of the wedding queue to allow other couples to exchange vows first, as she predicts a ‘massive backlog’ due to the pandemic.
Speaking to The Sun last month, she said: ‘We’re not engaged but we are preparing to get married. It will definitely happen but we’re not in a rush.
‘We don’t want a small wedding. We want a big group of people and a big party with no restrictions.
