On Gogglebox last night, the stars tuned in to watch Rod Stewart perform on the Graham Norton Show. The 76-year-old rocker was a guest on the chat show last week where he performed one of his latest singles.

This saw him don a sequined suit as he was surrounded by blonde women wearing white minidresses.

He crooned One More Time in front of Graham Norton and his guests, Adam Driver, Lady Gaga, Josh Gad and Nadiya Hussein.

However, not everyone was sold on his performance as Jenny Newby from Gogglebox reacted to his getup.

She said: “What the hell is up with him? Doesn’t he know when to stop?”

Her good pal Lee Riley then laughed at her verdict.

Other families on the Channel 4 show also weighed in with their opinions on Rod’s performance.

Watching his singing, Tom Malone said: “Jesus, Shaun! What’s with the leg tapping?”

While Sophie and Pete Sandiford discussed seeing the rocker live.

Pete quipped: “Textbook Rod Stewart surrounded by lovely ladies blonde.”

Amira and Amani Rota burst into laughter as did the Baggs family.

Giles Wood then remarked: “He can still move, Mary.”

Following Rod’s performance on the BBC chat show, he chatted about his fitness and his new outfit.

Impressed by his dance moves, Gram had said: “Rod Stewart, you appear to be fit as a flea, there was a lot of dancing and a lot of moves.”

Rod shared his fitness secrets, replying: “Football mate.

“I’ve kept myself fit forever.

“I’ve had one trainer for 35 years, I’m going to pay him eventually.”

Rod also opened up about working on his album during lockdown.

He said: “I paid more attention to it, more personal songs because you’ve got so much time to think.

“Like everybody else’s albums coming out, I think they’re lockdown albums.”
