Following the end of season two of Emily In Paris, fans have gone wild guessing what is next for the American marketing manager.

Blighty bound? Emily In Paris fans have shared a theory that the leading lady may switch the French capital for London, after following her love interest Alfie home

Alfie [Lucien Laviscount], who was introduced during season two, asked Emily to try a long-distance relationship as he headed home to England after completing his contract in Paris.

However during the last episode, Emily was seen rushing to her neighbour Gabriel to confess her feelings to him, only to discover that he had reunited with his ex-girlfriend and Emily’s friend Camille.

The finale left it unclear which romantic road Emily will take, but fans have offered an ulterior plot, where Emily leaves France to embark on a relationship with Alfie in London.

Could it be?! They predicted that the change of location could also mean a crossover with iconic comedy-drama Sex And The City, which is created by the same director, Darren Star

While in London, viewers predicted it could mark the return of Sex And The City legend Samatha Jones, who is currently working there with her new PR firm.

SATC reboot And Just Like That… confirmed that Samantha had crossed the pond to work in the UK, which could perfectly tie into the next series of Emily In Paris.

Sharing their theory ahead of the next series, one fan wrote: ‘Emily moves to London to follow Alfie and find herself in a new position working for Samantha Jones PR.’

On the move: While Emily has two job offers, one working for Sylvie at her new firm and the other in her current role chasing a promotion in Chicago, fans are guessing that she could soon have a third if she moves to across the Channel

While Emily has two job offers, one working for Sylvie at her new firm and the other in her current role chasing a promotion in Chicago, fans are guessing that she could soon have a third if she moves to across the Channel.

Kim Catrall refused to be apart of the SATC reboot due to her difficult working relationship with the other three stars, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon, however there’s no saying whether she’d join a crossover show without them.

Another fan took to Twitter and shared a similar theory, writing: ‘Crazy that there’s a post-credit sequence at the end of this season of Emily In Paris with a title card saying LONDON and then a shot of Samatha Jones walking across the Millennium Bridge saying into her cellphone:

‘Honey, Emily, we’re going to have to get you out of Paris.’

Another said: ‘It would’ve been better if they said Samantha Jones was now Emily In Paris’ boss.’

Many fans have drawn comparisons between Emily In Paris and Sex In The City due to the fact they have the same fun, high-fashion feel.

One other viewer speculated that Emily In Paris could be a look at what Carrie Bradshaw’s life would look like if Mr Big hadn’t come to find her in the city.

They said: ‘Not sure if this was already said but Emily In Paris would have been the next season of Sex In The City if Carrie didn’t get back with Big.’

Another appeared to agree, and said: ‘Emily In Paris is Sex In The City, in Paris, 20 years later. Sorry but Lilly Collins isn’t a patch on SJP. Still watching for the fashion.’
