Emmerdale star Mark Charnock paid an emotional tribute to his late on-screen son Harry Whittaker on what would have been his tenth birthday.
The actor, 52, took to Twitter on Thursday to pen the moving message to Harry, who tragically passed away in 2014 aged three from a chronic lung condition.
Mark shared a picture of Harry, who played Marlon Dingle’s son Leo and had Down’s Syndrome, dressed in a Spider-Man costume.

In his tribute, Mark wrote: ‘On what would have been his 10th birthday, thinking of this little Spider-Man today.
‘Thinking of the joy he brought to everyone he encountered and of his giddy laughter. Thinking of our prince Harry with love and happy memories. Xxx’
Harry was nephew to Doctor Who star Jodie Whittaker, and alongside Theo Tasker he was one of two young actors to play Marlon Dingle and Rhona Goskirk’s son.

In 2019, Jodie broke down in tears as she recorded a charity cover version of Coldplay’s Yellow at London’s Abbey Road studios in tribute to her nephew, as Harry’s parents looked on in tears.
Recording the emotional song, Jodie put a photo of Harry, wearing a Spider-Man suit, next to her as she sang, something which viewers watching the show, which aired last night, said left them ‘in floods of tears’.

The mother-of-one struggled to contain her emotion after watching Harry’s mum and dad, Whittaker’s brother and sister-in-law, crying while watching her sing.
Earlier in the hour-long show, which saw a host of stars including Olivia Colman and Suranne Jones singing for the charity record, Whittaker told viewers: ‘My song is dedicated to my nephew Harry who is in the stars.
‘I’ll be singing wearing stars, I’ll be singing about looking at those stars and I will be crying my eyes out.’
