As New Yorkers brace themselves for cold weather and snowfall, actress Florence Pugh appears to be keeping herself warm and toasty.

On Sunday, the Black Widow star, 25, was seen puffing on a cigarette, while wrapped up in a large winter coat as she enjoyed a day out with friends and her boyfriend Zach Braff, 46.

They walked down the street with several friends, all of whom wore warm-looking winter wear on a day where many weather channels were reporting a chance of snow.

Braff and Pugh brought their dog, a rescue named Billie, with them for the brisk walk.

While the couple seem very happy in their relationship, they continue to receive a negative reaction on social media.

Fans have questioned the over 20-year age difference between the two stars, and Pugh has had just about enough of it.

In an interview with ELLE UK back in July, the actress responded to the criticism of her relationship with some strong words.

Age is just a number: Fans have questioned the over 20-year age difference between the two stars, and Pugh has had just about enough of it

‘I have the right to hang out and be with and go out with anyone I want to,’ she said. ‘I’ve always found this part of what people do really bizarre. I’m an actor because I like acting and I don’t mind people watching my stuff, but people have no right to educate me on my private life.’

While she did admit that being a celebrity means that the public will certainly have more access to her life than if she wasn’t, she also made it clear that she didn’t think that should carry over into her dating life.

‘I know that part of being in the spotlight is that people might invade your privacy and have opinions on it, but it’s bizarre that normal folk are allowed to display such hate and opinions on a part of my life that I’m not putting out there.’

She continued, ‘It’s a strange side of fame that you’re allowed to be torn apart by thousands of people even though you didn’t put that piece of you out there.’

Not interested in criticism: In an interview with ELLE UK, Pugh told the publication that she has ‘the right to hang out and be with and go out with anyone I want to’  (pictured July 2021)

Working hard: Pugh has a number of upcoming projects including a part in The Wonder and Don’t Worry Darling in which she plays a person named Alice (seen above)

While her personal life has been the focus of such scrutiny, her professional choices are generally well-received by audiences, and it shows in the number of upcoming roles the star has.

Two of her movies are currently in the post-production phase. They are Don’t Worry Darling, a Olivia Wilde’s sophomore directing feature, and The Wonder, a psychological thriller coming to Netflix.

She is currently filming A Good Person, written and directed by her better half, which tells the story of a woman whose life falls to pieces after a tragic accident.

Morgan Freeman will star opposite the Midsommar star.
