Frances Bean Cobain sells Hollywood Hills home for $2.2M… after declaring her ‘love’ for Tony Hawk’s son Riley

Frances Bean Cobain, the only child of grunge couple Courtney Love and the late Kurt Cobain, has sold her Hollywood Hills home for $2.29M nearly two years after purchasing it for $1.99M.

The Dirt first reported the sale of the four-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bathroom Spanish-style 1926 property in the secluded Hollywood Knolls neighborhood last Thursday.

The 29-year-old visual artist had lowered the initial price of $2.5M in order to unload the white-walled 2,908-square-foot abode, which sits on .29 acres of land.

The Emmy-nominated Montage of Heck producer must prefer baths to showers as one of the bathrooms has a nice tub and b&w polka-dot floor tiling.

One reason Frances is moving might have something to do with her publicly declaring her love for skateboarding legend Tony Hawk’s eldest son Riley.

Cobain wrote on January 1 that she loves the 29-year-old painter-skateboarder ‘the most’ and he brought her a ‘great amount of joy’ over the last year.

The self-described ‘trust-fund baby’ was only 20 months old when the Nirvana frontman took his own life in 1994 at age 27 with a self-inflicted shotgun wound.

‘My relationship to money is different because I didn’t earn it. And so it’s almost like this big, giant loan that I’ll never get rid of. I have an almost foreign relationship to it or guilt because it feels like money from somebody that I’ve never met, let alone earned myself,’ Frances said on the RuPaul: What’s The Tee? podcast in 2019.

‘I’d say in the last two years, I’ve taken real accountability at looking at every little thing and talking with the people in charge of my money. And also realizing that you don’t have to live lavishly to live well…The one way that I was shown how to live beyond your means and live in excess. It took me stepping away from that and getting sober [in 2016] in order to realize that no matter how much money you think you have, it’s not permanent.’
